I was really dissapointed, it had funny moments but I thought overall it was very poor...and I'm the world's biggest Family Guy fan. I dunno. The fish is a stupid character, same with the alien. the spontaneaus sneeze/vomit thing the alien did was not funny AT ALL, and they did it like 3 times. Very, very dissapointing.

It started out very slow for me, but towards the end I really started to dig it. I found the dog to be the funniest part, that and the teacher/frog relationship.

i think it was just a way for family guy to get back on the air under a different alias. it's pretty much the same thing with the different character names and a new gimmick for the dad. it still had that Family Guy humor to it, though.

I thought the alien was the funniest character. And I thought there were tons of funny parts. I agree the sneezing thing was stupid, but overall I was not disappointed. I figured a lot of people would be simply because it isn't family guy.

I was in a room with 25 people watching that show after the super bowl, and it was dead silent after that line. Guess you have a different sense of humor than people my age. Man, i sound old after saying that...

The alien is the worst character...That guy sucks....I wasn't expecting it to be as good as Family Guy and it wasn't...It's still a pretty funny show, though. B.

I liked it at least as much as I like Family Guy, which is to say a lot. I'm more of a South Park guy though I think.

It wasn't bad....I thought the dad (particularly the gay part) was funny and the alien.....But the show was slow. But then again you can't judge a show based on its first few episodes.....Every good show takes awhile to grow on you.

I thought it was pretty good, I didn't like The Family Guy's first episode but it grew on me now I love it. The best part was definitely the dog, I was thinking that they might actually have brian as the dog but it was funny regardless. I agree that the fish has got to go. but I think that Seth Macfarlane was trying harder than he should of because he was stepping back on with fox but I guess only time will tell.

It was started as a successor to Family Guy. Seth had no plans to restart family guy when he started work on American Dad.

i laughed at some parts. the fish and alien are fucking stupid. i really like the dad though, hes hilarious. overall i was let down.

the thing i liked most about it was the commercial that said 'New Family Guy Episodes Start May 1!' i cant fucking wait for those.

Oh. Well that makes sense. I mean, I still liked it and laughed a lot, but I really don't think that they should run that and Family Guy.

I say cancel the simpsons and leave both American Dad and Family Guy on, just put Arested Development on inbetween them.

man, i was so excited for this and i barely remember it. i drank lots during the game...but from what i do remember it wasn't that great. still though, it had a ton of hype to live up to so hopefully it will find it's own identity as a show and both can be on and be funny. may 1st....

I agree. The simpsons is just plain bad now. That superbowl episode was horrendous. They should just call it quits.

i'm anti everything having to do with cancelling the simpson's...granted they're hit and miss nowadays, but i don't know a world without them...anyway on may first we get all 4...simpsons, arrested, then an hour of mcfarlene...i can't wait

Same here. Hopefully it gets better since it was just a "preview episode." Otherwise I can't see it being around very long.

the part with bush and god was pretty good. I really enjoyed when God answered Cheney's call.

I thought it was great. It wasn't as good as Family Guy, so I was disappointed in that respect, but I think once I start to get used to the characters it'll start to be even better.

i was drunk while watching it, and i don't remember laughing much, which is pretty sad, it's definatly a family guy clone, which is disapointing, but still better than most of the crap on tv
