Childeren Of Bodom/Between The Buried And Me/The Black Dahila Murder
Monday October 6, 2008
House Of Blues Cleveland
Cleveland, OH
The Black Dahila Murder played first and we came in part-way through the set. BDM is a band I enjoy but I never listen to, with that said they put on a pretty good show tonight.
Between The Buried And Me was the band me and my friend went to see and they were, per the usual, amazing. Last time I saw them they only played two songs, while five still isn't a hole lot in forty-five minutes it was more than enough to make me happy. They were tight, accurate, and on as ever. Tommy's vocals sounded great and the band moved around a little bit more than I was use to, which was a surprise. I've never seen a crowd get as in to them and mosh/crowd surf/dance/push as much as they did tonight (even the headlining show), it was really great and the band feed off of the energy. I've seen them seven times now and this was easily the second best (the first being when they were direct support for Norma Jean two years ago). Utterly amazing, I got goosebumps durning the last song. They are one of my top ten favorite bands to see live. Like I said, amazing.
Backwards Marathon
All Bodies
Prequal To The Sequel
Roboturner
White Walls
We didn't stick around for much of Childeren Of Bodom, we heard them from the lobby for a song or two but aren't in to them.
BTBAM made it all worth the time for me.
