I know this might be a little late, but I have nothing better to do right now. Anyways:
Like Yesterday (3 1/2 out of 4 stars):
Like Yesterday, who opened the show for that night, was incredible. I have never been to any concert where a band has hit every single one of their notes and vocals to absolute perfection. The band had great energy, and the lead singer really got the crowd started for night by rousing up a mosh pit on their first song which lasted through their entire set.
Funeral For Friend (3 out of 4 stars):
I'm not completely positive, but I'm pretty sure that this was Funeral For A Friend's first ever NYC concert and they took advantage of it. By the time they had taken the stage, everyone had arrived and was on the floor. They did great job starting a hardcore circle pit in the middle of their set and did great job of getting everyone ready for the intense moshing that would follow them in Atreyu. The negatives about their set was their vocalist missed a few words here and there and there wasn't much stage presence by one of their guitarists and bassist.
Atreyu (4 out of 4 stars):
The most incredible set of the night. Right from the start to the end the whole floor was moshing and hardcore dancing. They had a fucking sick stage presence and the vocalist lyrics and screams were right on the money. I was at a lost of words with this performance.
Taking Back Sunday (4 out of 4 stars):
I saw TBS three times before this show and I have to admit that their shows suck at times. Tonight was a completely different story. This was the first time TBS had been performing in their hometown since their recent sucess with Where You Want To Be. Also it was Eddie's birthday, so the band was filled adrenaline. Adam hit every note and scream and the rest of the band did the same. The mosh pits were sick (the circle pit at one time streched out the entire width of the floor). This was probably the best TBS performance that won't be seen in a while.
