it's a good song, just not my favorite by them. can't wait to hear the rest of the album.

I don't really know what to think about this song. It's good but I guess I was expecting just a bit more from them. It seems to be just a little too poppy and not as original as what's on the first album. I still like it though.

I really like it. It is so incredibly catchy. I can't wait to hear more new songs, hopefully on the epitaph tour.

absolutely love this band but recordings NEVER do them justice, just not their forte
their strong point is definitely their live show

i remember when i first saw motion city a couple years ago, it was their last show on tour with the all american rejects, and the rejects all came out with booty shorts and cowbells during "the future freaks me out". i've never heard girls scream so loud. it was crazy. disturbing. but, crazy.

After first listen I thought it was just mediocore but now after a second listen I think its a pretty solid song. Plus you can't really tell with the quality of the stream.

I hope I can get well enough to see them this Thursday. I have seen them twice and they kick so much ass live but im excited to hear them play the new songs. As for them being more poppy what did you expect with Hoppus? I really like the sound and I dont think anyone should be complaining oh wait this is AP.net, what was I thinking.

nothing motion city does is short of incredible. they never fail in their genius when it comes to writing intelligent, clever, original tunes. not only that, they're some of the most down to earth people i've ever had the pleasure of being around and supporting. i can't say enough about how highly i think of this band.

truth hits everybody is from the Police Tribute out today, and when you're around is from their acoustic split with matchbook, but it will also be on the new record electric.

i liked those two songs the best. This new one was wierd. itll grow on me though. March 10th can't come any slower though. 30 some odd days.

I saw someone say this on another post, but it fits better here.

"Fun. :lol2: "

The song's really upbeat. I like it.

I love it! This CD is going to be amazing! I listened to this and then "When 'You're' Around" again, and man, oh man. They both sound great. And they played "Around" live and electric and it held up the bouncy rockingness the acoustic one did.

And yeah these guys are a ton of fun live. Justin is just a showman, he knows how to have fun and be comfortable on stage. I'm pretty sure he opened "Boombox Generation" by saying, "This next song is about electricity... ... I'm just kidding."

there are some obvious blink influences, not sure if they were consciously pushed, but yeah, good song.

just because freaking Mark produced the album doesnt mean squat, personnally, when mark produced Lechuza for Fenix, i think that album was better than the first, u cant just blame mark if they make a shitty record, i dont think the song is bad, nor i dont think the album will be, mark has done good work so far, so give him a break

It's safe to say that pretty much every band who plays this style of music is influenced by Blink. But I like this song and im looking forward to this album. My band is in love with anything Motion City Soundtrack do though. The moog is awesome, and the chorus is awesome. However, I think I heard this song somewhere else before Purevolume posted it. I don't remember where though.
