Anyone heard these guys? I know a lot of you won't like them, so please don't bother posting something like "don't care, shit band" just to boost your post count, it's sad.

I quite like their mix of Glassjaw-esque heavy rock. The Choreographer is a great song, awesome intro. Opinions?

They're from my hometown. Saw them with my friends a few weeks back and ended up getting my eyebrow busted open and had to get stitches. For the type of music they play, they're pretty talented and definately one of the better bands to come out of San Diego.

A Dull Science is alright; not really my thing but they seem like they'd be fun live. I actually met the bassist of Silent Armada at the Lower D show. He seemed like a really chill guy. There's a good chance I'll check them out at their show in december...

Actually Silent Armada doesn't have a bassist...you probably met Earnie the guitarist? good friend of mine as well super chill dude they've played a couple shows with my band The Variety Show...

As far as the Lower D show yeah My American Heart was there, Pierce The Veil was there and countless local bands were there as well...

How can you say these guys are generic? Matt's vocals alone set them apart from a lot of the other bands making this sort of music, and the relationship between the drums and guitars in their can't be beaten,

I love this band too much to not have a post in this thread proclaiming so.

The whole concept of "The Greatest of All Lost Arts" really made me admire/appreciate this band even more.
Their music is just really heartfelt. Not sure how people can say they're "generic." They're in a genre but they still hold their own from all the Attack attack!/Asking Alexandria clones popping out.

Yeah it's pretty sweet, managed to get the first minuteof the weatherman down but the super fiddly funky chorus isn't so easy haha! I'm a big fan of Dance Gavin Dance / Emarosa / The Fall of Troy but at the moment I can't listen to anything but Lower D. I was laughing at some of the responses to this initial thread where people were saying that they were like any other band and not original....yeah right. This guys are on fire!

What would you say is your favourite song from TGOALA and Moths?

Don't underestimate the awesomeness of Moths <3 its on fire. When I got a bit overindulged with TGOALA I went back to Moths and it's just amazing :D!

I thought about that, but I don't think they're far enough away from what Rise usually signs. I think they would have fit perfectly on Equal Vision before they got away from the kind of bands they usually promoted, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them there.

They already are signed and recording right now I think, or they might be done already. They just haven't announced the record label yet, probably a decent sized one. Wouldn't be surprised for Rise, Equal Vision, Epitaph, or Artery.

Bought the EP and cant believe they changed the titles of the released demos to "A Pending DUI" and "Kobe Grip". Kind of retarded titles.

The tunes are a fucking jam though! Too bad it seems like the band is over.. its like Finch all over again. I hate it, you wait for them to record a new album then they fade away. The worst part is the last jams from Lower D and Finch are really fucking good and imagining how great an LP could have been bums me out.. Whack Attack 2012.
