Daphne Loves Derby (http://www.daphnelovesderby.com) will be playing the South By Southwest festival (http://www.sxsw.com/) on March 19 in Austin, Texas. More info as it is announced!

Good for them this band is heading for very big things in my mind. Maybe im just hoping that because they are from seattle but who knows. I think I already know the answer to this but in 2 years what Seattle band do you think will be the biggest? Gatsbys American Dream, Daphne Loves Derby or This Providence or maybe another band?

In reply to the biggest Seattle band in two years, I am going with two bands from the other list...Im not from Seattle so maybe these bands are completely off but I know they are both good bands from your state:

The Pale
The Myriad www.purevolume.com/themyriad

However, I must admit Daphne is a good band...well thats my opinion from a Detroit kid

Cant wait. SXSW is always a good time. and im excited to see daphne loves derby live for the first time!

side note: was this the show that alt press had a free cd of with one of their issues? i hope they do it again...

Hopefully their showcase wont be 20 dollars for a 25 minute set by them, like it was 2 years ago for Armor for Sleep

yes it was... if you are talking about the one that had coheed sparta and a few other

sxsw should be a good time, im pretty excited about it... this is a good opportunity for Daphne..
