Anberlin & motion city... is their a connection?

Hey, i was just checking out some anberlin... and their singer sounds exactly like motion city sound track's singer.. does anyone agree? and i would feel really dumb if they were the same... but judged by the pics i didnt see a white guy with a fro but what are your thoughts?

ya i totally agree at first when i got the cd i was trying to figure out who the guys sounded like, at first i thought thursday, or boysetsfire, just because of how he sand not necisarily the pitch of his voice but then i knew it sounded like something else that i had heard before and all the sudden i was like o ya! motion city soundtrack. so sorry if no one else thinks they sound alike, and according to allmusicgude.com no members from either band are in the other
