hi everyone, its me andy. i just wanted to write in to say that i have officially quit the distillers. i am now in Darker My Love full time. i will miss everyone very much, i really appreciated all the support from everyone over the years. this has been very hard for me, and i am going to miss brody and tony and ryan very much. none of this comes from any ill will. the 4 of us are still close friends, i am stepping down so that i can return to my friend tim presley, to continue playing with him. i started darker my love with tim during the nerve agents as an outlet for us to play exactly what we wanted to, with out comprimise. so i feel now it is my time to go back to that. again, thank you all for your support, i will miss the distillers, but i need to move on. i love you all.

He was a good drummer and a really nice guy. I wonder why someone would leave a successful band? I've always wondered that. Youve got it made yet you dont want to be a part of it/ maybe because the distillers wasnt the type of music that he wanted to play.

that sounds about right. except he's not that awesome of a drummer, at all. even better than that, why would anyone like this band? they have an idiot lead singer who's only famous/popular because she married a famous/popular punk rocker, used him and his label to get play, and then forgot he existed when he wasn't a necessity anymore. that's even worse than Courtney Love, and she had her husband murdered.

i liked the distillers for their music and i never even knew she married tim armstrong until a few weeks before they called it quits. but who cares about who she married. that didnt change the fact that she's still in a band and plays music. i think she is entitled to marry who she wants and divorce who she wants and it shouldn't reflect what the band stands for.

and kurt's dead. tim can still move on with his life, how is that better?

p.s.: don't worry guy, im not attacking you. you have an opinion and so do i. it's so sad that i actually have to write this since everyone jumps on my case when i make a post.

i care. because if she didn't marry/use tim, no one would know who her or her shitty band are. of course, i already said that the first time and you managed to totally miss it. she is entitled to marry whomever, but that doesn't make what she did ok. and i, unlike many, hold certain values dear to me. being a good person isn't a necessity in the musicians i care about, but if your music isn't very good, there's a much better chance i'll give it a second listen if you aren't complete pieces of shit.

i was kidding about the kurt thing. grow a sense of humor. they're becoming rare these days. and if you treat it right, you might be able to sell it on eBay for big money.

what sense is there in humour? sorry i just had a lit theory seminar and i'm going all dang'd philsophical. the dude wasn't an awesome drummer (whether he was nice or not it doesn't matter, but finding an 'awesome' drummer in the punk spehere these days is getting pretty hard, people seem to be happy enough to just continue ripping off bill stevenson til their fingers bleed.
