I'm going November 20th. Pretty stoked for all the bands except The Famine (generic death metal) and The Devil Wears Prada. I've seen The Devil Wears Prada 3 times already this year, I'm just kinda sick of them.
I really hope Underoath is playing more stuff from Lost In The Sound Of Seperation. Their setlists from their last shows was only like 3 or 4 from it.

I bet they'l play a lot of Lost now since they've had some time to practice it more.
I'm expecting:
6 from Lost in the Sound of Seperation
4 from Define the Great Line
3 from They're Only Chasing Safety
and hopefully
When the Sun Sleeps
14 songs would be a good set

i bet they play 8 or 9 off of lost, 5 off of define, 2 off of they're only chasing safety, and i'd say there's about a 0% chance they play anything older than that

I agree totally...
They hate even playing anything off Safety...they only do it for the fans.
i am going to the Dallas, Tx one November 22nd.
So stoked...TDWP was amazing at Warped.

yeah, on last year's tour they played i think every song on define the great line, so i'd expect the setlists for this tour will be really heavy on lost. they obviously have more material to choose from now so i wouldn't expect them to play the whole cd. i'm guessing they'll play "it's dangerous business..." and "young and aspiring" from safety, and maybe "a boy brushed red..." it would be nice to see them switch it up and play something different. not that it really matters to me anyways since they're not coming to cleveland...

I'm going in 9 days so I'll post some sets. Most likely Saosin and UnderOATH since I'm not that familiar with song titles for The Devil Wears Prada.

When the City Sleeps
LOL
hahahah, it'd be better than Christmas if they played something older than 'Safety'
i hope that if they do play anything from "safety" it's not that same songs they play every time

i'm going on november 7th i think; i always forget and don't feel like looking it up.
anyways, i'm so excited to see saosin again. I love tdwp, but i've seen them twice in the past year. they are great live, but i wish that a different band was in their place. i also saw underoath at mayhem, but i'm still really happy to be seeing them again.
i couldn't care less about person l. i've tried to force-feed myself this band, but i just can't get into them. I really wish that a band like confide (even though they are touring with mayleen and the sons of disaster) or secret & whisper could replace them.

their sets are too short for 8 or 9 off of Lost, they will probably play an equal amount of Lost and Define material and probably play It's Dangerous and Young and Aspiring off of Chasing Safety

On my venues site it says POS but when I looked it up, it said that he was a rapper so I don't think that's right

Underoath, Saosin, and The Devil Wears Prada are on all dates
P.O.S. opening 10/15-10/26
Person L opening 10/28-11/8
The Famine opening 11/10-11/25
I have seen P.O.S. live twice and he absolutely kills it. I personally think he is better live than all of the bands on the tour except for Underoath, but I have not seen Person L.

When was that tour, I've seen Spencer do TCOT stuff but I really think it was immediately following or immediately before TCOS.

The tour that person is talking about was like in the spring/summer of 2005. I went to the show here, they did Angel Below which was awesome.

The Devil Wears Prada posted a bulletin saying that they're gonna play a new song and some old ones too. I'm stoaked for that. Hopefully it'll be worth seeing them this time. All the times I've seen them, they never stood out to me as being an amazing live band but, at Warped Tour I went to see Alesana instead and as I was walking around, everyone that I ran into told me that The Devil Wears Prada was amazing and was the best of the day. So hopefully they've gotten better recently?
I can't wait for Underoath to play Lost live. And I'm always stoked to see TDWP, especially since they will play a new song. My favorite band. Saosin is really good live too, this show will be good.

for the whole spencer/tcot talk, i caught their last song at skate and surf 04 and they closed with when the sun sleeps. and then i saw them at warped 04, and they played angel below, the changing of times and when the sun sleeps along with 3 songs of tocs. honestly, i don't want to hear spencer do dallas's stuff. complete opposites. just my opinion :-)
either way, i'm super pumped for the starland show.

So I just went to the orlando show, i drove four hours, great show, but im still fucking DEPRESSED that underoath didnt play a boy brushed red, like seriously? wtf!
Devil Wears Prada killed it, heres their set straight from the set list:
Intro (breakdown)
Dogs can grow beards all over
DDD (im to tired to comprehend what song that is)
HTML rulez dood (sp?)
New Song (It actually says new song on the set list, lolz)
Still Fly
Swords, Dragons, and Diet Coke (I believe thats the title, it only says swords on here)
Reptar King of the Ozone
Hey JOHN
Outro (another breakdown where the singer jumps in the crowd)
DWP just needs to headline a show in orlando already, most of the ppl were there for them anyways.
And btw, i feel that the sound for saosin was horrible, you could barely hear cove and couldnt hear anyone else, but cove was being pretty damn funny to the crowd inbetween songs.
But im not liking his mustache at all.

I went to the Orlando show and it was veeeery sweet=]
P.O.S. was pretty good I thought for a rapper, but I think he was getting booed. He was pretty funny in between songs.
TDWP was on top of their game, they were sooo good. They had so much energy from the time they started to the last song. They also played a new song and Still Fly, so that was pretty sweet.
I thought Saosin was boring. They didn't really seem into their set, but I've never really been interested in them, besides You're Not Alone and Anthony Green Saosin. And they played a couple new songs.
Underoath were AMAZING, as always. Everyone before me has said the set-list, but my high lights were Breathing In A New Mentality, Emergency Broadcast, Dangerous Buisness, returning Empty Handed, The Only Survivor, and Too Bright To See. Also I usually like the videos they play but I thought these were a bit weird.
But it was a great show, and if your thinking about going, you should definitely go.

Ok, Anthony didn't write any of the music for Saosin when he was in there, he just sang for like 6 months, so saying that post Anthony Green Saosin is a joke is completely ridiculous. And if you don't like new Saosin because Cove "is a pussy and doesn't scream" then your pretty closed minded. Finally, Saosin has been playing every song from Trasnlating The Name with Cove since it came out, and I think he does an absolutely amazing job on them. The only thing I'd agree with is if you said Cove lyrics suck.
But anyways, the setlists for all these bands look pretty fucking awesome. I'm way pumped for this show.

So I just went to the orlando show, i drove four hours, great show, but im still fucking DEPRESSED that underoath didnt play a boy brushed red, like seriously? wtf!
they played it at the first Atlanta show (and apparently at the second Atlanta show too according to a post above mine)
i wish they had played more TOCS songs. i was surprised they didn't play Reinventing Your Exit, but they did play Dangerous Business and maybe one other, i don't remember.

I don't think they play Reinventing Your Exit at all anymore, apparently it's been off of their setlist for about 2 years now but of course I don't know what they play at every show of theirs so I could be wrong.

I guess its part a nostalgic thing, because thats the song that I first thought "wow this band is really damn awsome" and still feel TOCS is the best cd, but thats just me and my tastes. I felt dissapointed not hearing it, but still was a good show and a good performance
Comparing AdamOATHS setlist to Youngs it seems as if they're rotating There Could Be Nothing After This and Desolate Earth, I really hope I get Desolate Earth on Nov, 15th :(
Oh, and rotating A Boy Brushed Red and A Fault Line, A fault of mine, I don't care which one of those I get, they're both good.

went last night in philly. really fun show. they had the phillies game on the big screen, so that was cool.
P.O.S opened the show. really , really give this guy credit. it takes a lot of balls to do what he did. he's a rapper and he performed with just a mic and a laptop. despite knowing the type of crowd he was in front of, he played his heart out and encouraged crowd participation. some of his songs were pretty cool, too.
the devil wears prada followed. this is a band ive been listened to for about a year now and have quickly become one of my favorite bands / live acts. to me, it seems like they really got their live show together. they just seem to know exactly what their doing. i hate to usse the "E word " to describe bands' performances because its so used and but man, i gotta say : the energy they displayed impresses me more and more each time. they tour relentlessly, so ive seen them plenty of time this year ( this being my fourth ) but they weren't as tight as i know they can be. regardless, the put on a great show and seemed to have a huge following / reception there. they also played a new song. i wasn't too crazy about it. the intro reminded me of chiodos. i didn't enjoy the song too much, but ill wait until i hear it recorded to judge fairly. all in all, enjoyable set.
saosin followed. they came out strong and kept up that energy for most of the set. i even enjoyed the new (gray EP) songs more then i did recorded. they played 2 new songs, 2 old songs (translating the name, 7 years) and a couple of songs off of the full length. cove seemed to be trying out his screaming a bit more. more then ive ever heard him do it anyway. at some points he was even busting out growls ! but he also seemed to be sick. or at least i hope so. he REALLY struggled hitting some of those notes. it was just hard to watch. but i have seem him live before, and he was dead on, so ill give him the benefit of the doubt until the next time i see them play. i really enjoyed their set. and cove's new haircut.
underoath : im simply at a loss for words. wow. after last night, i am 100% positive that underoath is my favorite live metal band. unbelievable. i have only seen them live twice before last night, and they've just gotten better and better each time. even aaron's singing was a bit tighter then it was when ive seen them before ( not to say that it was "bad, just tighter this time ) and spencer was dead on, as well. the videos playing in the background were intense. really enjoyed those. the lighting was top notch. underoath really put on a show. id definitly go to see them again.

I've seen cideos of Cove where he sounds exactly like the album, and I was really stoked on going to that show, but idk. I left feeling really let down by Saosin's performance.
I kind of thought t was funny how annoyed saosin was with the philies game though. They did the whole "thank you so much we're saosin" thing like 578465487 times because people were cheering for the game and not them.
and underoath was just plain epic, and I'm not even a fan of their music.

i seen them in philly last night, and i must say i really enjoyed the show.
i have to be honest, i was really excited about seeing person L live because i haven't seen kenny live since the starting line's last set at bamboozle. in exchange POS opened up the show and spit a few rhymes for us all. i'm really not too into rap but i liked his set, he was basically there to get the crowd ready for the rest of the show and he did his job, all the while opening up our minds a little bit to something that might not be what we expected. i wouldn't say i'd go out and buy his new album but i definitely appreciated it for what it was.
after POS, the devil wears prada's set was next. i have to admit, this is where all of my excitement was. they really are incredible live, with mike's new foe-hawk and the pleasantly cheerful keyboardist, it ll pulled together just right. it was a really intense performance, but with the message they're trying to convey it's hard for me not to feel a spiritual connection with their music, especially live, because they really put their hearts into it. i liked the new song a lot, i might be the only one to say so though, no one else i was with agreed =/ i'm pretty biased though, especially after seeing them live. not to mention, they're really great guys, so polite. this set was definitely the high point of my night.
after devil, saosin was up next. their set was really solid with a mix of new and old favorites. cove is quite the character and definitely won the crowd over with his words rather than whatever was going on in his throat. i've never seen them live before, but judging by how he sounded it seemed to me like he was probably either sick or just having a bad night. regardless of that, i liked their set. after the last song which i'm pretty sure was 7 years, they said thank you and goodbye five times or more, which was pretty funny. then hainzeyX bought me a saosin t-shirt as we waited anxiously for underoath to begin.
finally, the house lights went down and you could just feel the energy of the crowd. they had this really awesome (but very eerie) video playing before they came out. the first song they played breathing in a new mentality, and then they went off on playing most of the new album with a few old ones thrown in. overall, they were really really tight, spencer's vocals were spot on and the band as a whole just seemed to have so much chemistry. i can't say i was as into it as i would like to be because i've only listened to the new album all the way through maybe 3 times so i didn't know the new songs all that well, but they put on an amazing show and it was well worth the antsy crowd.
all of the bands did an incredible job and this had to be one of the best overall shows that i've seen in a long, long time. to anyone who is questioning going or not i suggest that you do, you definitely won't regret it. :)

all the songs they played from TOCS were boring last night. there just not fun anymore. even a boy brushed red. that song gets old quick. only song i would want to hear live off that album is Down, Set, Go because i've never heard that one live.

I just watched a video with Justin from Saosin playing, and Spencer said "About an hour ago, Chris got hungry and ate little Timmy so now we're one man short in Underoath and that's a sad story, but we'll address that later." No idea what that means exactly but hopefully he didn't quit or anything.
I would like to thank all you who posted setlists.
Anyone know why Tim didn't play last night? I heard Justin from saosin filled in for him.
Can't wait for the chicago date!
Someone on the saosin message boards said that Timmy took the night off to attend his bro's wedding.
After Spencer said the thing about Chris eating Tim, he later explained that Tim was arrested earlier that day. Then he said he was kidding and that Tim was at his brother's wedding, so Saosin's message boards were right. Justin did a great job of filling in. It was just weird when they played You're Ever So Inviting and Tim didn't get to do his one singing part.

not sure. i don't really listen to TDWP. i've just listened to thier albums enough times to know what songs they played. everyone kept trying to close the pits people were opening durring their set. people were trying to open them up before they even went on. then everyone around teh middle where they were trying to form a pit started sitting down. that was hilarious. it was just a bunch of kids sitting around it a cirlce chanting o lay o lay o lay o lay o lay o lay.

Saosin isn't playing finding home. And they are playing AG era songs. Not cool.

i've seen underoath once and tdwp twice, and i kinda like tdwp live a little bit more. it looks like they are having more fun when they are playing (especially their singer and keyboardist). underoath comes off as more serious when they are playing. Both sound great live, but i prefer the crazier bands that are kinda playing around on stage. i think that underoath makes a much better headliner though.

i've seen uoath a few times, but saturday was the best i can remember them sounding...and when they started their encore with "too bright to see..." i got chills. since spencer's been with them, they have been nothing short of incredible to me...and aaron is...well, he's aaron and he's savage. :)
i wasn't a die hard tdwp fan before, but their set saturday definitely sealed the deal for me. their stage presence is fkn amazing!! the energy was off the charts. i loved it. shows like that, where the whole crowd is just surging with the music...it's such a riveting experience.

Chicago show: Underoath= Incredible as always! Saosin= Cove what is going on? Sounded terrible! Such a let down from previous shows I have seen. Ontop of it, looks like he was a lost member of Nirvana or a smaller version of Monkey from Korn, with his sweet flannel and dreads. Hope he was just not sick, and not having bigger problems.
Also I am sooooo dissapointed in the my town of Chicago. This could be one of the worst crowds at a show I have ever seen. I would have to say that %75 of the balacony sat throught the entire UO set. How do you spend your hard earned money and sit in your chair with your thumb firmly jammed up your ass for the headlining band? what am i missing here? I guess I didnt get the memo on that

For those wondering if Cove is still sick, I saw him before last night's show in San Francisco and he sounded like he was about to cough up both lungs. So that might explain his less-than-stellar (or for those who don't care for him, worse-than-usual) performances lately.
I thought Saosin was great last night, although true to style at the Grand Ballroom I could barely hear Cove due to the speaker set-up. They sounded great other than that and the crowd was great during their set.
I'm not a fan of TDWP, and last night definitely didn't do anything to make me change my mind. I thought they were pretty generic and somewhat boring live.
I didn't watch The Famine, and I didn't stay for Underoath. But my friends who did stay said it was a decent set.

Still Fly
Swords, Mentos, and Diet Coke (I believe thats the title, it only says swords on here)
Reptar King of the Ozone

I've never listened to The Devil Wears Prada but their live show was unbelievable. Even I don't like how critical i am of live shows, but they were great. I remember thinking "okay, let's get this over with..." and then they started and i shut up.
Saosin was great. I still feel like Cove is struggling but i know he can do better and they are a solid band.
Underoath killed it live as usual. They know what they are doing and they push their performance to the limits.

what the eff...
this show was incredible...
we got to the venue just as the opening band was finishing up. It was nice to see all the hardcore bros come out and get pumped to mosh some shizz up....
TDWP=Awesome.. I never got a chance to see them live. but this was a great chance. They really know how to work it!!!
SAOSIN=Heatbreaking... I Know Anthony Green Would Have Smashed That Show In Half... They arnt that bad... Cove Or Cave Whatever his name is looks like Ryan from EOTC so that was awesome..haha
underOATH=painful... I like how i said i was excited to see all the hardcore guys come out and tear shit up. It got a little pushy but after that no one was freaking moving at all.. Me and my die hard little brother was singing at the top of his lungs smashing in to all the little Bewitches around us. I started the pit durring my favorite songs, boy brushed, dangerous bizz, returning empty, your ever so, this show was the shizz...
Thanks Robert For scaring THe Shizz Out Of Me when you fell in to the pit

Please do me a favor, and go back and read the 193279124 posts talking about how sick Cove is, which would be why he may have sounded like shit.
All these people who bitch and whine about Anthony being better never saw Anthony with Saosin.
I did.
And all he fucking did the whole time was stand there in one place with his eyes closed and didn't seem to give half-a-shit about anything. He had no stage presence in the least when he performed with that band.
At least Cove cares enough about Saosin and the music he's making to actually get into it.

This tour should be called "Ugliest Lead Singers In The World" tour... jesus christ ugly is an understatement.
But yeah, wth was up with that 100000 minute long break between Saosin and Underoath last night. And that movie shit they play, pretty sure it gave me nightmares. It was a fun show, my first "hard" one but yeah, I'll stick to listening to them (sao and underoath) in mp3 form.

That's really cool. Some guy was doing that at Warped Tour and I wanted to punch him. At a smaller venue it's not as bad because they'll probably be able to get the shoe back, but at Warped Tour you're kinda screwing people over.

I went last night and it was fucking amazing. Started off really shitty, mainly because I'm an idiot and wasn't paying attention when I was walking and walked into a fire hydrant and gave myself the worse dead leg I've felt in my life (it still hurts) and then I had to watch The Famine...
The Famine- played 30 seconds of their first song, and I turned to my friend and said "fail". If your into monotone cave man grunt vocals with a very shitty riff behind it, this is the band for you. No stage presence either, and you could tell the crowd was bored.
The Devil Wears Prada- my 4th time seeing them and they never have disappointed me. Same set that they've been playing. Tons of energy, great band!!!! The floor exploed when they started playing.
Saosin- Cove was sick, but he still did really well. I admit I cringed on the last high note of Voices, but otherwise did very well. They didn't play Translating The Name though... Oh the the dreads are kinda scary.
Underoath-Absolutely crazy!!! I had to get off the floor because my leg was hurting too bad so I watched from the balcony. These boys know how to play music. Great set and it was alot of fun.
Overall great show. It would be perfect if The Famine weren't on it, and Cove was feeling better.

you are crazy, cove is hot. (although I admit I haven't seen him with the dreads yet.)
i won't be going to this tour though, the only band on it I actually like is Saosin and from what it seems like, they're not playing too many older tracks, not to mention I've already seen them about 7 times.
lololollolol if you call choreographed stage moves a stage presence...
All bands choreograph to some extent to stay out of the way of flying microphones, guitars swinging and band members all over the stage. Well, except those dead bands who stand in the same area the whole set or wander around like they're bored. With all the stitches, staples, black eyes etc. they've had it's a case of had to or end up toothless, bloody and blind. It looks to me like they are knocking themselves out throughout the set. They give it everything they got every time.
I went to the Dallas show last night. The Famine was okay. The Devil Wears Prada put on a great, entertaining set. Saosin was pretty nice under the circumstances. It's nice of Cove to still play these shows even though he's sick. However, I find it slightly hypocritical, that Saosin would always talk about how lame screaming was, because Cove screamed A LOT (not just on the old songs). Underoath was pretty epic. It was definitely the best set I've seen them play. I had to leave in the middle of their set to go to the Conor Oberst show in the other room, but here's the setlist before I had to leave:
Breathing In A New Mentality
In Regards To Myself
It's Dangerous Business walking out your front door
Emergency Broadcast :: The End Is Near
I Don't Feel Very Receptive Today
You're Ever So Inviting
The Only Survivor Was Miraculously Unharmed
A Boy Brushed Red Living in Black and White
Desolate Earth :: The End Is Here

went to the San Antonio one...
The Famine- mehhhhhhh I knew beforehand they didn't belong at all here. just the wrong crowd for a straight up metal band. decent breakdowns but absolutely no crowd enjoyment.
The Devil Wears Prada- does mike think he's a god amongst men now? he used to get in the crowds face all day and just put his heart into every show but he just looked lazy and his voice just sounded lame and tired. rest of the band was great just kind of let down seeing him do nothing. they need to record a CD or something and stop touring to take a break.
Saosin- I must say I can't stand listening to them on CD but they actually were really good here. they made their presence known and had a ton of crowd participation. at first I didn't think they'd fit in but they did. also thought it was funny hearing cove scream every so often
Underoath- started off kind of slow but at the end I must say it was the best show I've seen all year. was totally awesome seeing my heroes go do what they do best after a long 3 year break.

I went to the Houston show. I love all three bands and enjoyed them all thoroughly. Saosin was the best I've seen them out of the three shows I've been to, and The Devil Wears Prada and Underoath were both awesome.
Saosin played "Mookie's Last Christmas" which was an exciting surprise, and Underoath played an extra long set since The Famine didn't show up (thank god) that included "I Don't Feel Very Receptive Today" and "Desolate Earth :: The End Is Here", the closing of which was really breathtaking live. Both bands said something about how they always love coming to Houston before said songs.

The tampa show was so intense. Underoath and TDWP were so good live.
Also, The Famine's van broke down so UO asked Death In The Park to fill in. Let's just say some people were not happy.

I went to the show in baltimore mid october, it was really good. Never seen a rapper open for a concert like this though, but P.O.S. was decent, his last two songs were pretty good and got people into him. My favorite band out of the 3 is TDWP and I thought they were amazing. To me Saosin was disappointing, not that into it, and I wasn't impressed. Underoath as usual were really good. Their keyboardist is hilarious
