I was really excited for this show at the rock angel cafe. the date was february 10th at rock angel cafe. I told alot of people that the river city rebels were playing. I get there wondering where the rebels were at and I find out from people inside the venue that they left. one person who's band was playing with him that night told me that he tried to talk to them and they wouldn't talk to him and told him were going split. It makes me really mad that a famous band would treat the fans so bad like this. One girl drove an hour just to see her band the river city rebels. I mean cmon why would you do that, if you are a famous band do that to a fan. Look how much gas she wasted coming to paducah kentucky. I was very upset and so were alot of people who are mad at the rebels for not showing up for there gig. I am sure they do this at other venues. to me though this is just real crappy. If anyone is seeing this band on tour boycott them. who knows maybe they will walk out on your venue before it is even time to play.

I drove an hour to see Murder By Death and Denali, but it was an 18+ show.

I talked to Adam from MBD and he tried to get me in, but the band that they were playing with, Laguardia, were being assholes and were like "No, the kid should read the flyer."

So I got to hang out with Denali and MBD and talk crap about Laguardia. It was fun. Sarah, the hotasfuck cello player for MBD went and got pizza with me. It was awesome. Just me and her, eating pizza.

I love her.

Yeah yeah, don't rub it in. I'm driving 3 hours to see them next month. It will be worth it.

You know their new CD is based on the 9 Circles of Hell and a man's journey through all of them. It starts out with this guy getting killed on the electric chair and progresses from there.

Yeah, it's this book that's a couple of hundred years old. Dante's Inferno.

When i went to minneapolis to see Flogging Molly last year i stood outside for two hours waiting to get in watching everything from women with skirts on getting searched for drugs and weapons to men wearing kilts carrying bagpipes having the bagpipes searched a long with their kilts...well it turns out when there are about fifty people ahead of me...of course...they sell out so i drive the three hours back home not only on an empty stomach..but flogging molly-less...someone tell me more about this Murder By Death...the concept sounds cool..way better than the fucking hell concept for the My Chemical Romance cd's...

Yeah, I was at that River City Rebels show, when they showed up, and then said "We're gonna split," to the club owner. So I e-mailed them saying that i didn't drive there to find out they showed up and then left cause they couldn't get alcohol or something. Here's how they replied... "word up... If your not a fan you never were.... Its that easy. Eat it.... See
how that works? tell all your friends. Let the world know... Oh NO..."
