Following a visit to Japan with Green Day in mid March, Sugarcult (http://www.sugarcult.com) will return to the states and begin work on the follow up record to Palm Trees And Powerlines.

Their last album wasn't as good as their first. I hope they make up for it.

Sugarcult are awesome. I wanted to see them before they made another record, but I can't so oh well.
I hope it's nothing like Palm Trees. That was a horrible record

I agree, I should sell it..., I liked lots of songs from their debut, but never got it because this was coming out, got this and wow, I was hugely disappointed, the first 3 songs are pretty good and then it becomes horrible...

Wasn't too impressed with Palm Trees myself, but they're a solid band. Here's also hoping for improvement.
They are impressive live though

I was EXACTLY the same way. Didnt buy the first one since Palms Trees was coming out, but well we know it wasnt as good. I did enjoy the first 3 songs, espically number 2 it was maybe the best song I'd heard by them.

I like them..I thought both records were great. They ripped off the Rolling Stones on that song Head Up. It sounds like Start Me Up. They r a cool band and have an amazing Rock/Pop Punk sound.

I don't see much difference between their first and second record.

At skate and surf 2004, I was watching Kevin Devine in the paramount theatre I think and at the same time Sugarcult were playing in the hall. I'm not a huge/omg/wow/lookitsasugarcultshirt fan but they got my ear caught up in a battle listening between them and Kevin Devine.

I like Sugarcult. They're not a bad band. I don't own any of their records but I've pretty much heard all of them. They're very good live but thank God they kicked their drummer out. Everytime I saw them live he had beers and cigarettes in his hand while playing and he seriously looked like Bobcat Goldwaithe after 45 years of cocaine, heroine and booze 24/7.
