First off, I would like to thank the band for taking the time to sit down and do the interview with us.

Thank you!

Who are you and what do you do in PWT’s?

I am De'Mar and I play drums in the PWTS.

How did PWT’s go about becoming a band? Where did you guys all meet?

Well Dave, Tom, and one of their friends named Ken started the band back in 97. They then added a second guitarist by the name of Steve. Ken eventually quit and that's when they added Mike and I to the mix. Tom moved to just singing and Dave moved to guitar. Steve quit and then we got Tim. HELL YEAH!

You guys just released “All That We Needed” on Fearless records. How have you guys felt about the fan reactions since its release?

The reaction has been incredible. A lot of kids have bought the record and as far as we can tell, they love it. We never expected any of this and it has been amazing so far.

Any meaning behind the title?

The first song on the CD is called "All That We Needed”. There really is no deep meaning behind it, but with the new members and all the band has gone through lately, we thought the changes were... all that we needed.

How did you guys go about getting signed to Fearless?

The band released "Stop" on their own back in November of 2001, and our manager shopped it around to some labels and Fearless really liked it. Then they signed us.

Tom, what made you decide to drop guitar and do just vocals?

Let me ask him... He says that girls will like him more.

What are some of your influences musically?

The Beatles, jimmy eat world, the strokes, saves the day, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5, weezer, U2, tom petty, the cure, nirvana, the police... just all the stuff we listened to growing up and that we think is good.

You guys have played countless amounts of shows and tours, how hard has it
been living on the road?

It's pretty hard you know, you miss your friends and family and being home a lot, but having so many friends on the road in different cities who come out to our shows and hang out with us makes it a lot easier.

You guys have played Warped Tour the last few years, are you doing it this year?

Hell yeah we are! We're doing at least two weeks, but hopefully if things work out, we'll add some more dates.

Chicago has had a lot of attention lately and a lot of the bands from there have been getting signed. Did you guys find it hard to get noticed and get your music out?

At first, it's all about playing shows and getting out there. Eventually, if someone's listening, you'll get noticed. I think that's rule number one. Just do what you love and play your music for people.

Considering it’s the beginning of 2005, are there any big plans for the band this year?

Big plans? Of course! We're shooting a video in about a week and then we will be on tour for the rest of the year.

Any bands that we should be keeping our eyes and ears out for?

Isn't it your job to tell us who to look out for?

Do you have any last words for the readers in AP land?

Last words?? Yeah, please post as many negative witless comments as possible. Oh wait... you already do that. Well, just try to be funny at least. LOVE ALWAYS, Plain White T's

That might have been the most boring interview ever conducted on this site. Every one of those questions was so cliche, it was unbelievable. I have heard every one of those questions asked in every band interview ever. Come on guys, we can do better than this, or at least I could. "What are your musical influences?" Give me a break...

I have to say that I agree with you .... I have my own site where I interview bands/artists, etc. (I started my LONG before I ever even heard of absolutepunk.net) and I try to make my questions something that make the artists thing, as well as something that can't be found out by reading the biography page of their website. I love the PWTs and this interview wasn't anything worth reading, as the questions were everything I already knew about the band.
