Ya, multiplayer sucks on it. It was okay when Ps3 first came out but I played it sometime last year and it was horrible. New one won't be any better, I'm afraid. Too many people.

Hahah, fuck you Dan, I'll stop bashing. I reallllyyy thought about getting a PS3 just for this game, to be honest (and probably would if the U.S. was getting the LBP bundle). Really looking forward to playing it.
I was very surprised they didn't release the bundle in the U.S. I can't think of a better game to bundle.

Same here. Adults want it for the creativity and kids think it looks cute, so will ask parents for it, etc. I think it would have been great.
Plus it seems to have (albeit to a lesser extent) the Wii's ability to draw in non-gamers. Not that LBP alone will be enough to make a non-gamer buy a PS3, but with the price cuts and influx of good games + the fact that it has a blu-ray player, it isn't out of the question.

You can use any webcam on the PS3(even the 360 one), but LBP only picks up the PlayStationEye. It's damn good camera I guess, but I can wait for the update that allows images off the HDD to be used.

I haven't tried playing since Monday, but on Monday before I'd get to the actual game screen (with the Ps3 controller/planets etc.) my screen just went black. I don't know if that had to do w/ the servers going down or what but after I agreed w/ the online stuff it just went black. Hopefully all is well next time I start it up.

Sorry to bump this but I need 6 items which all require 3 more players to get. Can anyone invite me as a 4th player on the level "The Collectors Lair". I've aced all levels and got absolutely everything except for the stickers/objects that are on the 4 player part of that level. Nobody ever seems to join the level in online mode.
