Appreciate what you do have, and realize a girlfriend/boyfriend isn't everything. That whole "this day sucks" shit is played out and annoying.

perhaps.......but it's not that the day sucks.........more like singling out one day to be sweet to your gf/bf is kinda ridiculous and sums up why relationships are kinda weird most of the time.

It shouldn't be one day. It should be everyday. Besides when you buy something for someone with no reason, it usually means more.

I love giving presents to people for no reason. If I see something that I know one of my friends would like, and I have the money, I'll buy it for them.

My friend and I come up with ridiculous away messages about what we are doing with ouy valentines (neither of us have one), for example: "ice skating in central park with my valentine" or "having a beautiful brunch on a streetside terrace cafe in downtown Paris with the love of my life" etc.

There is no reason to feel sad on Valentines. After all, you have Happy Vday (http://www.thisawkwardsaw.com/happyvday) (as seen in Alternative Press).

the only reason I don't like Valentine's Day is because I think it's pretty retarded to do something for someone you love only once a year, only because it's a "tradition". if you really cared, you wouldn't need a reminder, and you'd show how you really feel on any day.

the reason i don't like this day is because there are industries making money off of people's obligated love. the idea of buying something nice for your partner seems kind of necessary today because that's what all the card, candy, flower companies want. so i guess i'm just opposed to the commercial aspect of it? i don't know.

Valentines Day is over already over here. I can finally get back to my normal life, without having all these women trying to kick down my door.
Hell, who am I kidding, the girls don't give up that easy.
