It's time to shows some love for Damien Rice. The man has a great voice and writes oh so sweet songs. 'O' is one of my favourite chill cds. Something for every valentine, even if it is yourself.

I love Damien Rice. Sometimes I listen to O to fall asleep (Thats not a bad thing, I like mellow music like that) Anyways, Damien Rice is definitely a very good artist, and my dad like him too.
if i'm in the right mood, there's nothing like damien rice.

I've actually only heard bits and pieces of it. What I've heard is excellent though, he's great.

Oh yes, O is absolutely amazing. Ive had it for about two years, and it is still great. My favorite song off of it is probably Volcano, I love the vocals in that song.
He definately is the most recent influence of any artist on how I look at music, right up there with David Bazan (Pedro The Lion) and Elliot Smith.
You really should hear the whole thing, it's exceptional.
I wonder how, and when, his follow up will be...

I've got a friend who's a big Damien Rice fan, I'll check out the rest from him. He was the one who got me into Damien Rice in the first place.
If you havnt already, I would definately get the B-sides EP.

Yes, and the live songs are great on there. And if anyone has a chance to see him live, do whatever you can, you wont regret it.
He's in my top 3 of artists I need to see live.
Seriously, he's just fucking spectacular.

wow...i love damien rice..there is nothing better than his debut cd...blower's daughter and volcano are two of the most timeless songs to me...every1 should know who this guy is.

I got this album from said friend last night, and it completely blew me away. I knew it would be good just on the strength of the tracks I'd heard, but I never imagined it would be this good.

The same guy I got O from yesterday is uploading that right now. I've heard Lonelily, it was really good.
Lonelily, The Prof. and La Fille, Woman like a Man (show's Damien in a way more narcisistic light) are all top notch, but the real gem is the live rec. of Delicate.
