You're trying too hard to rhyme here. I appreciate that you have a rhyme scheme, but it is too rigid; this forces you to rhyme when it is not necessary, and leads you to write lines which don't make too much sense (literally or to the message of the piece). A good example of this is the critical/pitiful rhyme.
