If you notice, there isn't a single California date either. This tour was specifically made to hit the areas that most tours do not, and give the kids who live in less populated areas a chance to see the tour. NYC, NJ, California, Seattle, Chicago etc. dont qualify as "unpopulated".

so if the tour thats supposed to hit all the "unpopulated" areas doesnt come to south carolina, what does that say about this awful state. its my own dumb fault for leaving jersey to come to college down here. talk about night and day.

Not at all, Poughkeepsie is in the middle of nowhere and its definetly not close to the city. I've been there a trillion times and totally empty compared to New York City or Long Island. Less and less shows have been taking place in Poughkeepsie as the years go on.

is it just me, or do they always seem to find a route around the U.S. that doesn't involve colorado??? They've tour lots and only came to denver a total of 4 times in the last 3 years!!

What's this about the Flipside Festival? I'm always out of town that weekend. Do you have any info about the show, namely date and lineups?

I will be seeing this tour on Saturday. Hell yes. I've never seen JamisonParker so I'm excited.

I think all of these bands have been to SC before. And if you go to school in Columbia, Tremont in Charlotte is like an hour and 20 minutes away

Apparently Pittsburgh doesnt count as populated or unpopulated, because FSF hasnt been here in a long long long time. Oh wait, this city just sucks.

rofl it is funny, this tour is hitting all the crappy towns in florida (can't speak for the other states, cuz i don't know) but it's just going to end up a bunch of kids from other places driving farther

maybe a few years ago SC was popular then, because as long as I have been here(about 2 years), i believe only the Starting Line has been here, and that was up in Myrtle Beach with yellowcard a few months ago.

I'm in charleston, which is 2 hours from Myrtle, 3 hours from Charlotte, 3 hours from Jacksonville, and 5 or 6 from Atlanta(though we have made the trip before). LTJ and Early November did come through here about a year ago though, that was good news. That was the only show i have ever been to in Charleston.

They may not be talked about on this site and the venue may not be as big, but bands are very commonly going to Poughkeepsie.

The one rare time I see my town of Fargo, NORTH DAKOTA on AbsolutePunk, they have to put it in the wrong state. *disappointed* Anyways, I'll be at the show, this has about a .01% chance of receiving a reply of "Yes" but is anyone else going to it?

you are really wrong, Poughkeepsie draws from the city all the way up the hudson because of the convenient train station which connects with NYC. I live half way in between the city and Poughkeepsie and its the most popular venue from nyc to albany. I dont know how this place could be compared to like Fargo, ND its not even 100 miles outside nyc.

I would be at the show on the 20th just because it's been a while since I've seen FSF and i would love to see Days Away. But I'm get to spend the weekend installing mixing boards in Chapel Hill and plus, I already have 2 concerts in March that I'm driving back for, The Epitaph Tour on March 2nd and Gatsby's American Dream & Circa Survive in G-Boro on March 26th. Those two shows ar much more worthwhile in my opinion!

this will be a great moment of realization when the bands whole "playing smaller areas" plan backfires in michigan when everyone will be in detroit for taste of chaos the same night.
