I'll give Hello Rockview the lofty spot of number 2, but Less Than Jake's best has to be Losing Streak, in my humble opinion.

I have yet to come across an LTJ that doesn't have at least ONE redeeming quality. I think I love their second B-Sides album the most though.

LTJ has never done anything wrong in my opinion. They are the greatest live band, ever, and I'm really excited for the album and the tour.

see....this is awesome, because yesterday i found hello rockview and popped the cd in...after 2-3 years of not hearing it. The meories flooded back, i remembered how awesome they were, and though "hey...new album?"

I love LTJ's "Anthem", I don't know why so many hate on it. It is different from "Hello Rockview" and "Losing Streak", etc., but it's still a solid album. Anyways, I have to agree with everyone who has praised their live performance. They're definitely in the top 3 live bands I've ever seen, maybe even the best. Just a kickass time for all. When's this one supposed to come out?

ive heard they are shooting for a fall 05 release. i really hope that happens because that will mean that LTJ have released a brand new album every year for the past 3 years. anthem was an amazing record, those lyrics are some of the best vinnie has ever written.

I thought it had some good songs on it, but as far as a coherent, flowing album, there were just some rough patches of notgoodness. On previous Less Than Jake albums, there were of course songs that weren't as good as others, but they were still fun and rockin' and made for good flow. On Anthem, there were tracks that were just flat out not good songs ("Welcome To The New Song", the seventh track, "She's Gonna Break Soon", "That's Why They Call It A Union", the "loud" part of "The Brightest Bulb Has Burned Out/Screws Fall Out") and they really ruined the feel of the album.

On a related note, I'm listening to Borders and Boundaries right now. :)

Agreed. I think it's effin' awesome how their sets at their shows aren't based on all the new shit but a hefty blend of all that is Less Than Jake. Saw them at Warped two summers ago and it was like ectasy when they played "Johnny Quest". This album will no doubt be excellent but the anticipation will suck ass. Boooooooo.

Most definately I agree with you. "Borders and Boundries" was a great cd but the last couple of LTJ cds havent really have had the same vibe that I felt from "hello rockview".

I think Pezcore is the most raw and fastest of their albums.! I rank this one #1.
