Her record will make you feel good about your life.

I didn't realize she had any solo stuff out. I'll have to go look her up on myspace and give a listen. I really love her voice, she totally makes some of those songs. There's one song on his B-sides album (can't remember the title off hand) where it sounds like just her singing and it's really trippy sounding. Good stuff.

I know the song you're talking about but the title eludes me.
This stuff is a lot more home-y feeling and is really, truly perfect for driving around if you're somewhere where Fall looks good. I drove home for the weekend from school this afternoon to it. Great ride.
Not to dwell on her past too much but she definitely did work well with Damien Rice and I loved both his records.
Disappointed she will not record with him again but I will definitely check this out. That title is very hard to say quickly 5 times though.

I like this album. "Pistachio" is ace. I'm gonna check out this Damien Rice character now.

Excited to hear this, one of my favorite voices in music.

why will she not work with Damien Rice again? That's a shame. I'll have to check this record out as well. She's got a beautiful voice.

The old 'creative differences' banter. Said there working relationship had run its course. I can imagine Rice is pretty difficult to work with, much as I like his music.

I love Damien Rice, I like what Lisa Hannigan brought to that too but I don't think he'll find it too hard to produce a decent record without her.
I've never heard her solo stuff.

I saw her last night with Jason Mraz. I hate to say it, but she bored me. I thought every song sounded the same live.
