New Coldplay Record Information

According to a new online newsletter on the band's web site it appears that Coldplay's new record, still untitled, will not see the light of day until June. The band cited they'd rather "tweak the final product" before releasing it. Additionally, the band have dropped producer Ken Nelson in favor of producer Danton Supple (responsible for 2002's A Rush of Blood to the Head).

i read in some article that Coldplay are gonna go in a more upbeat 80s influenced style on this record. if this is true i'll definately check it out. i still can't fucking believe that they're headlining over Weezer at Coachella :huh:

but this will be a million times better than the new finch......i actually think they've lost alot of fans from taking so long and the bad reaction to the demos that have leaked...but that's for me anyway.

I'm not surprised (I heard march a long time ago but then no exact news), but I am disappointed. Oh well, it will be awesome when it comes. I just wish they'd tour soon.
