View Full Version : PA users RE: PA bands (Official Thread)
A good number of kids from PA post in this forum, so I wanted to make a thread where we can exchange/discuss bands from Pennsylvania (locally or label backed). There are tons out there, some might not know what is going on good in other areas of the state musically and rather then to waste our time on stupid area code shitty hardcore/metalcore forums for each county of the state, just post whatever you are enjoying here.
This might also help users in the Tri-State area looking to book bands/tour/or just straight interested in some tunes.

Wish I sitll lived in Scranton, though I will still be hopefully seeing Menzingers at the Fest. Did Street Smart Cyclist's breakup spawn any new bnds yet?

A lot of decent bands from lancaster right now. Ventriloquist should have a release out early 2009.

My mom randomly decided Flroida would be better for her arthritis. There's always a chance that we'll move back but for now it seems we're going to be here for at least a few months. Sucks not being in walking distance to any venues, and almost all venues being bars.

Nice idea, although most bands from Erie these days are the "Area Code Hardcore Bands" that you speak of. Some of them are good. Others.....no comment.

The C-team are decent imo. They're young.

yea area code hardcore bands are abundant in every county across PA. I was hoping that there are at least some bands out there in the state still being creative.

Well Erie had a couple, but they all broke up. Sucks big time.

Yep. And as it is, the only dude I don't know in that band.

Funny to hear you say that cause I've seen them more times than I can count. They've always put on a good fun show.
