Over It (http://www.overitonline.com) posted another new song from Silverstrand on Purevolume (http://www.purevolume.com/overit) yesterday. The song is titled "Truth Is". Their sophomore release for Lobster Records will be in stores March 8th and you should be getting pretty freaking excited about that. Lord knows I personally can't shut up about it.

I saw them last week with Acceptance and I feel they kinda let me down. I will still go get the album when it comes out but they just werent together for the live show. Hopefully next time they come to seattle they will be more finely tuned

I'm missing something..
Remember how you guys stressed to no end that the leaked version of the album was unmastered and totally not the versions that would be released on the final?
Is it just me or does this not sound any different than the leaked version?
I love it, but I mean, do you guys really believe this sounds so much different than the "demo" version?
EDIT: On further listens, I hear differences.. but not major. Great song. I love the "..had around all along" bit in the middle.. Peter's voice gets me off so hardcore.

same here..........i think the only difference in the "mastered" version is that the instruments and vocals are a little louder....you can see this in the unmastered/mastered straylight run cd and that was the only difference i noticed

i'm officially tired of hearing about over it. there should be a limit on the months of hype a record can receive. how long have we been waiting now for this? when was the first hype comment? september? august? that's six months. i don't even want to buy the album anymore.

this is a question for those who have it--is the album as a whole really good? because i really don't have a great joy in listening to these songs, i don't think of them to be much more than average. i enjoyed the ep, and these songs certainly aren't bad, but i sure don't see the OMG AWESOME in it.
that's just an honest question, not bashing those who enjoy/love it.

I'm with you. I tried to like this band but it just never happened and it really isn't happening now.
