shitty video in my opinion. if for some reason you doubted the quote unquote darkness of this band, this video attempts to solidify that.

oh really, "" darkness?

if you want to talk shit about MCR get your quotes right.

and i think you can't ignore that their music has a dark vibe going on, even if it's not the music, the lyrics sure do.

I posted that I liked this video in another thread and somebody with like a zilllion gave me bad feedback so now I have negative scene points. :( Not Fair. I was just starting to get recognized. Either way, I'm gonna stay firm- I am a casual fan of MCR but i really enjoyed this video.

I like this video and the song, and anyone who wants to bash me for it can go fuck themselves. Those of you who didn't like it knew you wouldn't so eat a fuckin dick.

Amazing, before they got "most watched on MTV.com" the video was praised, and as soon as it happens all the bashers come out. Great song, Decent Video. It's too bad the quality of a song is now dependent on whether or not MTV people have caught on.

i really enjoy MCR, don't get me wrong. i just think it's weird that everyone in the band is dressed normally except the singer.

this video deserves this...

regardless of whether or not you LOVE the song, its a badass video, done by an amazing director (Mark Webb, he did the "i'm not okay video, as well as Sic Transit Gloria). I agree with whoever said "if you didn't like the video you knew you wouldn't have before you saw it". It was a damn good video.

i think this video was filmed very well. And i dont know why people bash other bands and stuff. i dont see you starting a band, goin on the road in a lil van. playing shows every night, making cd's and videos......your probaly sitting in your moms basement. So stop bashing MCR or any band. They worked hard to get where they are and prolly dont care what u think

I don't know about everyone else, well I do cause I've read what you said, but that was pretty much perfect for it. It looked and felt like what I imagined actually, perfect for MCR. And by the way, all you people who are bitching about them now are the same people who were creaming yourselves in July. You aren't non-conformists, you are just the new breed of "non-conforming" conforming elitists who are every bit as bad as the people who listen to normal radio. Enjoy that tidbit and bring on the negative scene points. Hurt me real good.

Weber and I were talking about this video yesterday and he said its pretty cool but a bit tacky, and I agree with him, certain parts of the video are almost laughable but I feel its a success overall.

Not the greatest song off their album but regardless, the video matches the song perfectly. Way to go guys.

I agree with the person who said that everyone is turning on them. Everyone loved this CD when it came out last summer, and its still a great CD and band. For the most part, they didn't go to the mainstream, it came to them. I think that's pretty cool, and some of these scene kids need to learn to be happy for a successful band. Its counterintuitive not to be. Sure, if MCR gets popular and then writes more mainstream stuff, you can be mad, but if you like their album, it gets successful, then you decide you hate it, that's just dumb. That's just you being pissed that your tastes are no longer edgy but mainstream, which is futile.
If they weren't on TRL and looked more metal, they'd be scene darlings, and 80% of their CD isn't mainstream at all. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Yeah, but the dancing ruins that video. The song still owns.

Um, I said 20 year olds as in they are in their 20's. It is like when you say someone is a teenager - meaning they are in that range of age. As for the high school thing, I was talking about their last video. Where he constantly repeats that he is not okay.

Also,I didnt know they were quite as old as you said they were. That makes it even worse that they are making videos about high school.

Funny story too, my roommate accidentally got a MCR shirt in the mail from somewhere and wont wear it. Well, the other day I got a free mickey mouse tshirt from my boss that I will never wear and he offered to trade me and I was like hell no. Mickey mouse is way cooler than MCR.

and that is why the first version of im not okay is waywayway better than the second.
