Cobra Starship/Hit The Lights/Sing It Loud

Sing It Loud was first and we walked in about ten minutes into their set, I wasn't able to get in to them and enjoy it but I can see where a lot of the crowd would.

Hit The Lights was direct support and I'm indifferent about them on all aspects - on record and live. The was pretty good but I just think they are trying to hard to be New Found Glory.

Forever The Sickest Kids weren't on this stop, which disappointed me because I was looking forward to seeing them.

Cobra Starship headlined and this was the eighth time I have seen them live and it might have been my least favorite of any of them, while it was still high energy and a lot of fun they left a lot to be desired. Gabe's voice is really struggling with have sists (sp?) on his vocal cords and it seemed to be a really short set. Also, it did not help that his Birthday was yesterday and he obviously fucked up. The band sounded like they always do and messed up in parts but they all kept light and fun, which is why I go to see them. Sancdulous -> Diamond Girl -> Amature Night were all first verse/chourse and segued in to each other. Which was a disappointment. They played for an hour, which is a big down grade from the headlining tour in January but Gabe is sick so I guess that is a big factor.

I'm going to be going to this tour again in Orlando, FL so hopefully Gabe is feeling better.

Sounds kind of disappointing. I have high hopes for the (first 3 bands on) this tour, maybe having FTSK at the show will change the experience.

It was a disappointment, I really only went for Cobra Starship and wanted to see Forever The Sickest Kids (who I knew for a while wouldn't be there) but don't think they would have made or broke the show for me. I'll see them in Orlando and hope Cobra increaes the sets.

Also, Gabe mentioned this as the bands first headlining tour, I'm hoing it was because he was messed up and he hasn't forgotten that. Haha.

Glad I didn't go to this... I hope HTL got a little more time to play at least with FTSK not on the Cleveland date. I was aware of that too, but this tour just doesn't do it for me. Also, they did a full headlining tour back in the winter, so the whole "first headlining tour" isn't true. That tour actually came to the Grog Shop...

I'm pretty sure almost everyone knows that this wasn't the bands first headlining tour and there was one last winter..

Haha I know... I feel like they are trying to alleviate the disappointment most people seem to be reflecting in this tour.

Glad I didn't go to this... I hope HTL got a little more time to play at least with FTSK not on the Cleveland date. I was aware of that too, but this tour just doesn't do it for me. Also, they did a full headlining tour back in the winter, so the whole "first headlining tour" isn't true. That tour actually came to the Grog Shop...

yeah hit the lights played longer-i put their set in the sassyback tour thread. the only htl set that i saw prior to going last night had them playing seven songs and they played ten last night-the same seven songs as in the first setlist plus save your breath, back breaker, and hangs em high. i'm surprised that cobra starship didn't play at least 2 or 3 extra songs since ftsk wasn't there. the show ended right around 10 and there was a good 40 minutes between htl and cobra starship, so it was a pretty short show

Damn... 40 minutes! That's ridiculous... How was the crowd? I saw there were tickets still available Saturday, so I was wondering if it was still packed or not.

there arent any on youtube yet, but does anyone have any good videos of send my love to the dancefloor? i wasnt at the show, but my best friend apparently corwdsurfed and gabe grabbed her hand, and yelled at the security to help her or something.
