New Anberlin

The new Anberlin cd is pretty good, isn't it? It's been ages since I bought a new pop-punk cd, but I was pretty impressed with this one. The Feelgood Drag, Paperthin Hymn and the title track (Never Take Friendship Personal) are all damn good.

What's the general opinion?

You should check out the british band Reuben, I can't believe how overlooked they are. They released one of 2004's best albums.

It's in my top 3 of the year so far...but it's at number 3...and keep in mind it's only Feb.

But it's damn good. Their first is pretty good too.

Dude, when I saw them, they opened with Bullet to Binary, but they extended the intro to about 3 minutes, and Aaron was nowhere to be seen and all the lights were off, and right before the vocal part was supposed to come in, all the lights came on and Aaron dove from offstage and grabbed the micstand and hit the ground on his side, yelling "Let us die, let us die!"

Amazing. I fell in love.

I like it. Great album. Its catchy, got good vocals, some great riffs. Can't ask for much more. It rocks out in some tracks too. Fav tracks are Never Take Friendship Personal, Paperthin Hymn, The Feel Good Drag and Audrey, Start The Revolution.
