Personally my fav is High Fidelity. Extremely funny, great soundtrack, and all the direct narrative to the audience makes it a different kind of film. Plus the part with Bruce Springsteen is the bomb!

Wow, I can't believe I'm the first one to say it, but Napoleon Dynamite. I know, it's the trendy thing, but I've been all about this movie for a year, it's great.
And also Bio-Dome. I love Pauly Shore.
Recent movies I saw that were great, Motorcycle Diaries, The Believer, and of course, Garden State

I was going to make a sarcastic comment about taste, but then you said the Believer, which shall validate you for a bit.
I Heart Huckabees, Moulin Rouge, Hudsucker Proxy, Rushmore and Donnie Darko is what I will go with right now.

The Believer... that's the one with Ryan Gosling (from The Notebook), right? It's like American History X. That guy is such a great actor. He makes every movie he's in so much better (including the two movies mentioned plus Murder By Numbers). If he takes the right roles I think he could win an Oscar some day.

The ending to Garden State was lame. It should have been a sad ending, and exactly like the beginning. Fuck maudlin entertainment.
My favorite movie is Snatch. Perfect blend of comedy, drama, and action. Clever fucking writing. Great directing style.

Yes! Snatch is also a favorite of mine. I so need to buy it. Isn't it available as a two disc special edition? I usually only see it as one disc but I swear there's a two disc version out there.

Haha, I could list them but it would be massive. Garden State is definitely up there. If I had to narrow it down, I think I'd either go with Garden State or Fight Club...I'll post a list of my favorites later, if I remember.

Ah fuck it, it's not like I'm doing anything right now:
Garden State, Finding Neverland, Shaun of the Dead, Team America, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Aliens, Friday the 13th, Troy, Donnie Darko, Fight Club, American Psycho, Equilibrium, Legend of Drunken Master, Kill Bill, Boondock Saints, The Reckoning, Snatch, South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut, Baseketball, Orgazmo, American Pie, Van Wilder, Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle, Last Samurai, Evil Dead, Army of Darkness, The Girl Next Door, Basic, Collateral, Anchorman, Elf, Old School, Blow, Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas
That should give you a good idea. Let me know of some more awesome movies. I've missed a lot of the good ones.
