I Miss Weezer was supposed to recommend with me, so hopefully he'll give them to me later to post. (done)
Anyways, enjoy these recs, because they'll probably be the last for a little while.
Bloc Party (http://www.blocparty.com) - Silent Alarm. So everyone seems to already know of Bloc Party but if you haven't heard Silent Alarm, you need to.
Burmese - Men. I first heard about Burmese from a site I frequent that makes Pitchfork look mainstream, and while I wasn't sure what to expect because they usually deal with more jazz, avant-garde and obscure indie, this stuff is brutal and weird.
Clann Zú (http://www.clannzu.com) - I think I might have recommended Clann Zú before, but regardless, they're pretty awesome. Rua was great and while Black Coats and Bandages dropped some of the prominence of the celtic influences, it was a beautiful album.
Eric Prydz - To be honest, I don't know much of his catalogue, but I do know that the song "Call On Me" is awesome. I think he only has a bunch of singles and remixes out anyways.
Glass and Ashes (http://www.noidearecords.com/bands/glassandashes.html) - So apparently I completely missed the boat on 2004's Aesthetic Arrest but thanks to a pno review, I checked it out, and it's great. If you like PMFS' new one, you should like this too.
Godspeed You! Black Emperor (http://brainwashed.com/godspeed/) - I'm sure most of everyone knows Godspeed, but I'm sure some haven't listened to them, and if that's the case, you should immediately buy their stuff. Their debut F#A# oo was absolutely amazing, as was Slow Riot for New Zero Kanada on which they got a lot louder, and Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven was amazing as well. Some of their work is some of the best orchestral political rock around.
Hair Police (http://www.freedom-from.com/hairpolice/) - Obedience Cuts is insane. Some great chaotic noise.
Jesu - Jesu. If you're a fan of slow drone metal (a la Isis or Pelican) you need this.
Wolf Eyes (http://wolfeyes.net/) - I'm sure I've mentioned Burned Mind before (at least on my top list for 2004), but if you haven't checked it out, it's awesome stuff...freaky, but awesome.

Originally my picks were all going to start with the letter A so you
could find them when your looking for the new Armor For Sleep album on Tuesday, but after going through my playlists late at night earlier this week I changed my mind. Feedback is always welcome, but e-mail it to me since I won't be near a computer this weekend. (My e-mail is Tim.McCall@gmail.com)
American Analog Set - Updates EP
Che Arthur - All Of Your Tomorrows Were Decided Today
Audible – Sky Signal
Mates of State – Team Boo
