Hopefully this will a bit more interesting than the last debate. I suppose McCain will mention Ayers tonight. I got a good feeling Obama will deliver an effective counter-punch that make a significant moment tonight.

It's McCain's last chance for a game-changer - so expect him to try and get under Obama's skin. Expect Ayers. Expect ACORN. Expect more accusations to "raise taxes". Expect associations to Dodd, Frank, and Pelosi.
In the end, Obama will not only look like the bigger man but he'll put the character assassinations to rest - leaving the McCain/Palin campaign with absolutely nothing for the remaining 20 days.
Oh yeah, and Obama wins (again) for the sweep.

The result of this debate is probably going to determine whether or not I fail my Italian exam tomorrow morning. If I wake up only to find that McCain somehow managed to crush Obama, I'm going to be way too miserable to focus on the test. Maybe I should wait until after, haha.

1. He's a Republican but he doesn't bow down to the far right conservatives. He's voted along side the Democratic parties on issues unlike Obama who has voted pretty much one sided. He has respect from both Republicans and Democrats.. Like I mentioned earlier Joe Lieberman was almost his running mate.
2. He is far more educated and experienced on foreign policy and I personally believe he will handle the situation better than Obama will (I.e- walk out victorious in Iraq, not meet with Ahmadinihead without preconditions)
3. I favor his economic plan on handling the mortgage crisis more than Obama's plan. He also wants to keep the tax cuts, wants to end Pork barrel spending

Because Palin is as right wing as they come.
He has voted for both sides that's the bottom line and Obama hasn't and that was my point. I just showed you he hasn't.
I thought he did win the foreign policy debate. That's a matter of opinion I said blow out. If he was so much better suited he would have blown Obama out of the water and emerged as the clear winner. By every single poll, he did not.
The top economists do not back Obama's plan. False. I know the nobel prize winner in economics backed his plan, and I read an article about a ton of top economists that backed his plan. I'm sure this argument can be used to argue for McCain as well though.

Palin is clearly a useless politician. She has zero good ideas of her own, she damaged Alaska rather than helped it, she is a poor public speaker and she can't even memorize her own parties policies. She was chosen to win the election not because she brings anything at all to the role other than christian right appeal. In what area does she have experience and knowledge McCain does not?
Domestic policy experience!!!!

That is wrong. He has been trying to win their votes since the primaries, and he has changed his stances/opinions on a lot of things as a result. He is not the same John McCain that I knew years ago.
Anyone that thinks Joe Lieberman is a real Democrat doesn't really know enough about him. Honestly.
Let's also not forget that McCain has supported Bush on almost everything. How could you possibly ignore that?
I'd rather have someone with better judgement in charge, than someone with experience but horrible judgement.
Unless you're making more than $250k a year, I don't see how you could like his plan better. But to each his own, I guess.
I know how Joe Lieberman stands and I also know how Joe Biden stands. Biden has voted opposing Obama on numerous occasions.
I'm not ignoring that about Mccain but he does disagree with Bush on some issues and I think he will be a better leader than Bush. Bush couldn't touch deregulation because of Clinton and you know that.

Joe Liebermen is a traitor to his party. That's a fact. Look at the letter next to his name. And Senators don't vote against one another, their votes differ. get your facts right.
Blaming one leader's decisions on another. THATS a way to lead a country. great.

Sure, and I appreciate you're curiosity.
1. Obama has been in Congress for how many years compared to McCain? Obama has only seen a Republican president, and majority of Republicans in Congress. It is completely unfair to compare the two except in their years they shared the same political environment. McCain voted with Bush 90% of the time, just as Obama has voted 96% (I think) of the time down party lines.
2. How is he more experienced on foreign policy. His remarks regarding the war and the problems in the Middle East has shown he has no clue what he is talking about (will be a quick war, see us as liberators) Not to mention Bush AND the Iraqi Prime Minister have already made plans to start withdrawing troops AND the Iraqi Prime Minister backs Obama's exit plan. I'm sure McCain is more knowledgeable about Iraq than the nations own PM though, right?
And you obviously have no history about the Middle East to say that just meeting with a leader will be bad for US relations, especially when former Secretary of State's (who I'm sure have more knowledge than you on this issue) have backed meeting with these leaders, without preconditions.
3. How is keeping tax cuts for the rich a good idea? Obama's plan provides more tax relief for those making under 250k, that would be 90% of America. Also, about earmarks. You should probably check this out: http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/the_budget_according_to_mccain_part _i.html

McCain suggested that his tax plan would help small businesses. But in reality, McCain’s tax plan would disproportionately benefits large corporations, giving $200 billion dollars to the Fortune 200 (http://wonkroom.thinkprogress.org/%3Cbr%20/%3E2008/06/26/fortune-200-report/).
He looks like such a sleazy old man. His smile bothers me.

This is boring. We've heard the same statistics. I know the bailout is $700 billion. I know about Ireland's 11% taxing on business. Can we move on?

John McCain has suggested that the example of Ireland justifies his plan for a cut in the corporate income tax. In fact, Ireland raised close to 4 percent of GDP (http://thinkprogress.org/2008/10/15/presidential-debate-live-blogging-3/%E2%80%9Dhttp://yglesias.thinkprogress.org/archives/2008/09/irish_corporate_taxes_bring_it_on.p hp%E2%80%9D) in revenue, far more than the 2.2 percent of GDP currently raised by the American corporate tax rate.

Earlier in the debate, McCain repeatedly attacked Barack Obama for his conversation last Sunday in Ohio with “Joe the plumber,” as McCain calls plumbing business owner Joe Wurzelbacher (http://www.jedreport.com/2008/10/barack-obama-and-the-plumbing.html), whose earnings of over $250,000 a year puts him comfortably in the top five percent of earners in the United States. Watch the conversation:

Here’s how the non-partisan Tax Policy Center found the candidates’ tax proposals would affect people’s taxes (http://wonkroom.thinkprogress.org/2008/06/12/obamas-tax-plan-not-mccains-helps-americans-who-actually-need-it/):
