http://www.koufaxmusic.com ( Koufax have signed to Doghouse Records (www.doghouserecords.com). Doghouse released the band’s first CDEP in 1999, and now the guys are back. Check out two new songs from their upcoming Doghouse Records full-length at their myspace.com (www.myspace.com/koufax) page.

once they said they were playing the doghouse sxsw I knew they were with doghouse.. Good from good band and great label, vagrant didnt push them enough anyways.

honestly i didnt even know vagrant had dropped them

they didnt get dropped their contract was up and they left because vagrant didn't do shit for them. The only reason they were on vagrant to begin with is because the getup kids brought them with to fuck over doghouse for the shitty way they handled the guk cds. It was an ugly bidding war for a band that really doesnt belong on that label, but I probably would never have given them a chance if not for touring with Reggie a few years ago.

That being said, I'm fucking excited that the new ablum is coming out soon.

Yeah, the Vagrant really didn't do anything for them, but I hadn't heard about the whole Get Up Kids/Doghouse beef.

And I too am excited to hear more from them.

Whoa awesome! Koufax is vastly underrated...Vagrant did absolutely nothing for them, but that's no surprise given vagrant's picky promotion process (Hey Mercedes, anyone?)

nothing against vagrant but they really didn't do anything for them

what exactly happened with the whole doghouse/get up kids thing? i've only heard bits & pieces...
