so okay, last friday i left to go on tour with my friends band for a week. we were doing portland, redding, and then a bunch of dates in LA. well... about 75 miles north of LA, our transmission blows. so we're fucked. we call AAA and luckily are able to get towed all the way to santa monica to a friends house. so ive been living in santa monica the last four days just hanging out. and its really fun. i went to the santa monica pier, beverly hills and rodeo drive, and today im going to venice beach. we get our van tomorrow and we're finishing off the tour in AZ and NV. it was a shitty situation, but its turned out to be pretty fun.
