slick shoes was the first band to ever keep me interested in music. "wake up screaming" is such a good disc. the funny thing is, when i first saw a slick shoes post, i thought they had a new bassist.

Pretty rough demo, but I am pumped the hell up about this late summer release. These guys have had more cast changes than grunge had songs about heroin but they still bring the rock every time. Oh man am I looking forward to this. I love his voice, the lyrics, the guitar work.... :love:

slick shoes has been and always will be my favorite band to come from tooth and nail records. these guys have never release a bad album. Rusty and Wake Up Screaming are both great as is, Far From Nowhere...can't wait to hear more from them!

the only original member left is the vocalist. Joe was such a good drummer. "Burn Out" was their best album

Burn Out was a great album, but Ryan's vocals were still pretty mediocre at that point. the guitars and drumming were amazing though. Joe Nixon in my opinion is the best punk drummer i've ever heard and its sad he left the band.
