there was one of these on a random guitar forum and so I thought one should be started here..

if you have any unique indie/punk/whatever bands and you think people should get to know em, post their name and some songs here, also maybe a short description of what the band is about. also if you can post a link to a site where you can hear some of their songs

I've got a few myself:

#1 Dear Leader- " Raging Red"
^ a new band from Boston. I've seen them 4 times and loved every show. very much indie rock

#2 Lola Ray- "Automatic Girl", " She's a Tiger", "Plague"
www.lolaray.com

^^ definitely check them out. some of their songs are kind of pop punk (like Automatic Girl) but the rest of the songs on their CD are very much indie rock

#3 Gatsby's American Dream- "Dragon of Pendor"
^^ every one of their songs is unique. check them out:

that's all I've got for now. alright so share what you've got!

Lola Ray is on Good Charlotte's label just fyi

As far as I'm concerned:

Reubens Accomplice - The Bull, the Balloon, the Family

They're a fantastic alt-country band with a fair amoutn of pop from Arizona. They're on Jim Adkin's record label, Western Trend, along with those other AZ faves The Format. Check em out!
