he did an album with john mclaughlin where they did covers/reinterpretations of john coltrane songs that was sweet.

Santana should just chop 3/4 of the neck off of his guitar. He never uses those frets anyway!

Heard Santana (the debut) for the first time. I've always been pretty cool toward his singles, but man, the band fucking rips on that album. It's just good stoner mood music.

Can't believe I slept on Santana's classic stuff for so long. Abraxas is such a great record.
