Norma Jean (http://http://www.normajeannoise.com/) – I got ahold of their new album a few weeks ago, and I am pretty impressed. I would definently say it has a completely different feel to it then the first one, and honestly it reminds me a bit of Mudvayne’s L.D.50.
Fall Out Boy (http://falloutboyrock.com/) – I haven’t listened to this album for a few months now, and it came up on random on my playlist and now it’s one of the only things I’ve been listening to while I work.
Arsnova (http://www.purevolume.com/arsnova) – They finally finished their EP and I got my hands on a copy of it. Not sure if any of you guys of heard of this local Omaha band, but they are definently something to check out if you are into The Postal Service, Onelinedrawing, or The Shins.
Ashlee Simpson (http://www.ashleesimpsonmusic.com) – Its research I swear!

Sad story this Thursday I was walking from the parking lot to the Take Action Tour and I got behind some concert goers. I figured they were going to the same place I was so I followed since I was a bit lost. I find out they were going to Ashlee Simpson who was in town on the same night biy was I surprised.

If this album jsut reminds you a bit of L.D. 50, then it should be a fantastic album, being that L.D. 50 is on of the best albums ever recorded. This is not sarcasm. Mudvayne's L.D. 50 is so good that it's not really fair to most other bands. although their second album wasn't as good, but I don't know what could be as masterful as L.D.50

I honestly don't know how you can compare them. I'm not seeing it. Give it a listen and see for yourself.

If you have never listened to the Ashlee Simpson CD you should for the production value. The Cd sounds amazing and John Shanks won a grammy for producing it.... I am not saying that lyrically or musically it is doing anything speical, but if you are a fan of the production process its a Gem
