wait wait, spitalfield is on this too? jesus christ, too many bands...especially when only two of them are worth the money

EDIT...yeah i don't see spitalfield listed on the SLR site...if they were playing, they'd surely have to find a place bigger than logan square in chicago

EDIT 2...damn, the logan square site has it listed with spitalfield...ugh

I'll be in tears if this doesn't come near me.

Minus The Bear owns this tour (and I love Gratitude and Straylight Run).

yeah if i go, i'm leaving early...i'd stay for straylight, but i'd like to be able to stay awake for my drive home

ps this is way too many bands for a show, certainly spitalfield isn't going to open the show like they're listed, i'd love to know the real band order

Um.... ya.
I have never heard of Logan Square Auditorium.. did they change the Congress's name or something?
Last time Straylight Run came here the tickets sold out in a day or two... so hopefully this venue will be much bigger.

i would say it's smaller than the metro...or atleast it fits less people

and with spitalfield opening this show, i have no hope to get tickets...i'm broke as could be right now, i was hoping i could get them at the door

actually, here's a picture the venue, i took it before the dan andriano show in the fall

This tour seriously needs to lose the Honorary Title and Spitalfield. I want Minus the Bear to make things fun, then Gratitude and Straylight to play their albums in their entirety. Much better than cutting everyt set short to make room for shitcore.

straylight run is probably one of the most boring live acts around. their set has no energy, and they play the worst songs off the album each time i see them.

Spitalfield is still on tour with Don't Look Down and Catch 22 at that time. Their website says they'll be in Pennsylvania that day.

There are too many shows in Illinois on April 8!

FBR Tour in Urbana
Straylight in Chicago
The Matches/Plain White T's/Waking Ashland in Wheaton

I already have plans to be in Urbana.

I just looked at the Mr Smalls(Pittsburgh) website and it doesn't have Spitalfield on for the show with Catch 22 anymore, so I guess they dropped off and will be on this tour for the whole thing.

I wish the boston show and rhode island show were reversed. Deciding between an hour and a half drive on saturday, or a half our drive on a school night is a toughie. I'll probably end up at the axis.

Wow, that is alot of good shows around here.
I would kill for The Matches in Wheaton, but if I can get tickets for Straylight I think that is more important. Such hard descisions. But I shouldn't be complaining, we're probably one of the 3 places in the U.S. that get every single tour, and sometimes some days 3 really good shows.

Yeah, I'd really love to go to any of those shows. Urbana is the closest for me (I'd never make it to Chicago in time after work), and it's an 18+ venue, so I can't pass that up. It would have been nice if just one of those tours was coming to Indy, but we always get skipped anyway.

no Spitalfield is only playing with them up until 3/27 they dropped off the rest of their dates so they could get on this tour. Smart men they are. They'll announce it on their site eventually.

The Spitalfield site has conflicting dates with this tour so I'm confused. Their site says they're on tour with Catch 22 during the month of April. Anyone have any info? I'm all about the Irving show, but I'd really like to see Spitalfield there .... but according to their site, they're in Ohio with Catch 22.

edit: I see someone already answered my question on here.
