What do you do when you really like a girl, but she is dating someone, and this person happens to be one of your good friends, and to make matters worse she also happens to be one of your very good friends? What you need to do, is find a way to get over it...no offense, but I was in a similar situation at one time. They dated for a while...then broke up, then dated again...then broke up again...it was a nasty cycle which allowed me to see what a lunatic she was. My guy friend went crazy while she stayed crazy and eventually, I stopped wanting to be him in the situation...boy I sure hope this helps.

You do nothing. Unfortunately, she is going out with your friend for a reason. If you say anything to her, it will just make things really uncomfortable and awkward for all three people, especially the tension between you and this girl. The best thing is to wait it out and see what happens, because doing something will only cause trouble.

As to answer your second question, it will pass in time once you get over this girl. Those pains will end with time. And if it really doesn't you could always try to steer clear of them, but that would be like running away from your problems and that never works out great either cause something will always come back to haunt you.

Also Sideways was a really awesome movie. ;)

What you need to do, is find a way to get over it...no offense, but I was in a similar situation at one time. They dated for a while...then broke up, then dated again...then broke up again...it was a nasty cycle which allowed me to see what a lunatic she was. My guy friend went crazy while she stayed crazy and eventually, I stopped wanting to be him in the situation...boy I sure hope this helps.

Same business. Though I imagine it's not the advice you'd want to hear right now, since it wasn't the advice I wanted to hear. But eventually, you've gotta break free. Even if you know she'd be better off with you, get over it, and seperate yourself from her. Chances are (and sadly enough), it won't bother her as much as it bothers you if you break off most contact. She's still got her boyfriend to keep her happy. So basically, you have to stab yourself for a couple weeks, and then you're free. You can see them together, and it doesn't hurt. You'll still think about her, but not with that "Ouch, it hurts to think about her" feeling. Chances are she and her boyfriend won't last forever, and you'll find when they finally do break up, you won't want her anymore, anyway.
