I honestly think that the regulars here are capable of self-moderation in the sense that when we see something that crosses the line, we'll report it. All the official threads make the forum seem just as cluttered, except now it's cluttered with threads no one is posting in. Again, I know PL looks bad from an outsiders point-of-view and you and Chris should do whatever you think will be best is "solving" the "problem" but the official threads seem unanimously disliked by the posters who enjoy PL on a daily basis.

Its something that seems to really fascinate people when i tell them (except it can get pretty annoying when a group of ppl spend half an hour asking me to taste all their friends and family lol). The funniest part about it was that i never really thought it was anything weird, till one day i told my friends what their names tasted like, and much to my surprise they had no clue what i was talking about haha.

your number thing sounds like synesthesia too. You should explore that more, i've got a few other mild forms of synesthesia (colour with music, mostly) and i've found it to be helpful to me when i'm writing music. So maybe your number thing could help you do math, or something...

tacos? that's depressing, I don't even like tacos.

my numbers with distinct personalities thing definitely helped me to do math when i was young, but not so much when i got into the harder stuff. It only happens if i'm doing stuff longhand (no calculator) and nowadays I rely on calculators for nearly every math problem i need to solve.

I will try and pay more attention to the rest of the possibilities with synesthesia, there's probably a bit more that i haven't really acknowledged yet. I know that when i'm on hallucinogens that stuff seems to happen far more. Like seeing music, but that's with the help of chemicals, hehe.
