Street Punk!

I'm in a street punk mood I want to make a sweet mix.
A few bands I've got are Dropkick Murphys, Blood For Blood, The Suicide Machines and The Bouncing Souls, I know some of them are sort of skary or melodic but as along as it's roughly around that, any ideas?

If you like Dropkick's you should like this band, Far From Finished (http://www.myspace.com/farfromfinished). They're playing on one of DKM's St. Patty's shows with the Unseen.

I don't really know either but I just went with a band that sounded similar to one he mentioned. I think the main problem is that different people classify music differently, there are too many genres out there.

People should keep it fucking simple. To me there are only a few sub genres of rock music. Arena Rock, (ex. Nickleback, Three Doors Down) Punk Rock, (Ex. The Clash, more recently NOFX) Pop Punk, ( Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out Boy) and Indie, which is kind of like the 'other' genre. It's going to get to the point where there are bands classified as, "post arena pop punk rock." Re-damn-diculous. Who fucking needs genres anyway? If someone would concider something "rock" or "folk" music, that would be enough to get me to at least check them out.
