Quietdrive came and played a 5 song acoustic set or something like that at my school today. WOW. how did such a generic (and when i say generic, i mean GENERIC, hit up myspace.com/quietdrive) band like qd get signed by the militia group? is this the direction the label is taking?

I've never really cared for any of the bands on the Militia Group. Wouldn't compare them to Epitaph at all.

Epitaph still has Grinderman, Nick Cave and Tom Waits. I don't care who else they have that right there puts them a million miles ahead of shitty militia bullshit.
Yes.

I don't think they sign unique bands, just good ones. As in, good for their respective genres.

I think you mean TMG will be the next Fearless or FBR.

Epitaph still has a lot more good bands over shit ones.

Only good band they've ever had, and a couple of OK bands.

The Rocket Summer?

Edit: Heh, they aren't even with TMG anymore.

One For The Team is the only one that gets my interest from them these days then...
