recently i've been getting more and more into this genre of sorts. It all started with seeing Kevin Devine in CT with Brand New. Since then I've become obssessed with his CD Make THe Clocks Move. If you want to get a feel for some of the best stuff that is out there right now this is what i recommend

Kevin Devine-Make The Clocks Move
I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody's Business- Self Titled
Steel Train-For You My Dear
The Format- Intevention and Lullabies

These are the 4 CD's that currrently have a serious stranglehold on my CD player, and I recommend that if you haven't heard these bands or picked up their CD's you cash in your bottles and pick them up

No but you can get it the "other" way. I-m me on instant message if you want me to hook you up with it.

It's amazing in my opinion. I'm definately picking it up when it's officially released.

kevin devine is great, his new songs are amazing.

if you're into that kind of folk rock or alt-country sound and want to hear music that takes it to another level, definitely check out wilco. start with 'yankee hotel foxtrot' they're hands down one of my favorite bands ever, and that record is one of my top 10.
