10.17 - The Murat Arabian Room

Judgement Day and David Vandervelde opened.
I enjoyed the first song Judgement Day played
but the rest of the set was a bit over the top for me.
I really dug David's set and I'm going to have to check out more from him.

Margot's set, in order:

There's Talk of Mine Shafts
At The Carnival
Oh, What a Nightmare
On A Freezing Chicago Street
Talking in Code
Mariel's Brazen Overture
Love Song for a Schuba's Bartender
Broad Ripple is Burning (Not Animal version)
Vampires in Blue Dresses
A Children's Crusade on Acid
Cold, Kind and Lemon Eyes
Skeleton Key
My Baby Shoots Her Mouth Off
As Tall As Cliffs

encore:
German Motor Car
Quiet As A Mouse

These guys put on a hell of a show. On a Freezing Chicago Street, Talking in Code, and Mariel's Brazen Overture all back to back was definitely the highlight of the show followed by German Motor Car. Everyone, if you're a fan or just curious, should definitely try and catch one of their shows in your area. Well worth the 14 dollars.

That's a nice set-list. I think this was the first show at the The Murat Arabian Room, but I am not sure. How is it compared to the theatre and egyptian room?

Its a nice place, its very small I felt like, but the ceiling is cool because it has like the stary effect. But for a show like this it was perfect

I had so much fun last night at the show! it was a great set list. I liked the whole stage set up, that was one of my favorites. but yeah what a great night

I wasn't going to mention the masks in this thread, but it's all good.

10.18 - Buskirk-Chumley Theater

Margot's set, in order

There's Talk of Mine Shafts
I Am A Lightning Rod
A Children's Crusade on Acid
On A Freezing Chicago Street
Talking in Code
Oh, What A Nightmare
Mariel's Brazen Overture
Vampires In Blue Dresses
Cold, Kind and Lemon Eyes
Hello Vagina
Skeleton Key
My Baby Shoots Her Mouth Off
As Tall As Cliffs

encore

German Motor Car
Quiet As A Mouse
Barfight Revolution, Power Violence

This show definitely trumps the Indy show,
mainly because I couldn't ask for a better set list.
I could also see the band this time rather than just a couple of their heads.
Barfight was a very nice surprise.
