Around 'Everbody Knows,' Ryan said is voice was killing him and that he didn't know what he'd be able to do vocally, at which point I knew it was only a matter of time before he walked off stage.
He continued on with the set, and sounded fucking fantastic. I could hardly tell anything was wrong with his voice (Ryan said he sounded like 'That gut from Goo Goo Dolls if he got really angry).
But Shakedown was kinda rough vocally. It was still amazing to see Ryan just yelling the shit out of it and whispering parts of it, but I knew that was it for the night. And indeed it was - it sorta apologized, and just shuffled off stage. The band looked kinda confused, and then followed off.
I was just disappointed in the whole situation. I know Ryan's health comes first, just hope they come back soon and do a make-up show and either honor out tickets, or give us a discount or something.
But it was still worth the $50 for an amazing hour of music.
