Actually this is somehting I really need help with. Like most adolescent males, except those lucky fuckers who don't have to, I must shave every couple of days or else I look like a homeless man. My beard is especially thick which sucks cuz the chicks don't dig that.
The point being is that I get razor burn and bumps real bad. It looks like I have acne. Any way to help with that?

Try being in the army, where they inspect your shaving every day. Im red as a motherfucker after I shave. It's not as red after Ive switched to machine tho.

I personally like facial hair on guys, but from what I've heard, those machine razors (not sure if there's a proper name for em) work really well.

Don't really get that problem seen as I "keep" a beard. Still have to shave everyday though to keep it tidy though, but I can't say that I get that problem.

apply some kind of face cream as soon as your done shaving . it should help too soothe your skin.

when i read the main thread title 2 in one day i expected something perverted :( yea....i dont get this problem so i dont know what to say but i feel bad for you i like to have a nice soft face...but what does people prefer Gel Or Cream?

i, too, get 5 o'clock shadow at noon. i use an electric shaver and then apply the lotion. it works good

i reccomend shaving with the grain at first, then to finish it off go against it.
It reduces irritation to the skin and can help in the long run..
Also keep trying different shaving gels , some may work for some people, otheres will work for others, just find one that helps you.

use shaving cream or gel or whatever for sensitive skin. and dont do that shave like once a week. i shave like once every two weeks and im worse than you.

Even when I shave with the grain it doesn't help that much and I've tried just about everything I could. I'm using that Nivea stuff now since it calms the pain fastest but nothing really helps with the pimples and all the in grown hairs and such.
