Just thinking today at how weird thsi lineup was, in febuary i saw a show its was: Silverstein, PROTEST THE HERO, Ill Scarlett, The Devil Wears Prada.

i just thought it was a weird mix of genres to play together it was a great show.

Anyone have a weird lineup from a show they went to?

This wasn't a tour, but a few years back Third Eye Blind and The B-52's did a show for the Indy 500. It might have been Carb Day.

haha yea it was their reasonably recent reunion tour. my mate went to see them & rung me on his cellphone from the concert, & in a very unimpressed tone says "listen.." it sounded to me like he was at a horrible karaoke bar, so noticing the time i told him to get the hell out of there & get to the police concert haha. he said he was already there, except "some possibly american idol novelty reject called fergie was opening for them" haha. he'd never heard of her before then, but definitely remembers the name now

but for the record, he said the police were on fire & played one hell of a gig

Woah woah woah. I agree most of the bands listed in the OP's post are lame, but Protest The Hero are quite excellent, albeit touring with douchebags, but none the less a great band.

Guns n' Roses invited Nirvana to tour with them. Kurt refused, but if it had happened, it would have probably been one of the weirdest tour lineups ever.

i would have liked to have gone, but it was a couple weeks after crowded house & i only had the money for a ticket & road trip costs to one... the finn brothers will always always win in this situation haha

the skatalites are one of the best & most influential bands ever. great musicians. if you're into reggae, ska, jazz, swing, or anything along those lines, you'll love the skatalites mate

oh righto, the only crowdies album to come out in '99 was afterglow, which is a collection of b-sides & rarities. great listen for any crowdies enthusiast, but probably not the best starting point. give woodface or together alone a spin sometime

bamboozle is actually a very awkward place for Snoop because Bamboozle is a punk type festival unlike Coachella or Bonnaroo which are mixed genre festivals...

Have you HEARD UnderOath lately?
They are nowhere NEAR metal compared to the other bands. AT ALL.
UnderOath is like, generic screamo-turned-even more generic screamo.
Its awful.
There is not one goood reason to see that tour.
It'll have shitty metal bands,dumbass metalheads, and the emo/scene crowd just there to see shitty UnderOath. what a blatant waste of money and time.
