LOL at the Joe Biden rally I went to today, Joe was like, "Joe the teacher! Joe the (insert occupation here)!" etc, then someone in the crowd yelled, "Joe the vice president!"
Priceless.

Everyone here keeps saying shit like "invented a character." Joe the plumber's a real dude. You can watch the video of him talking to Barack on youtube, and you can watch interviews with him. He exists.

Everyone here keeps saying shit like "invented a character." Joe the plumber's a real dude. You can watch the video of him talking to Barack on youtube, and you can watch interviews with him. He exists. Yes, invented. The McCain campaign made "Joe" the "Plumber" a fictional character using him as a symbol for Obama's "over-taxing of the American dream". In reality "Joe" is named Sam and makes 40k doing plumbing without a plumbing license- meaning that he would receive a tax cut from Obama and nothing from McCain. Not to mention, this year, he ironically hasn't even paid the taxes he owes.
"Invented" is a compliment to McCain's incompetency. "Fucked up" is more fitting IMO.

the premise of his question was disingenuous right off the bat. even if he was buying the business he was referring to (he isnt), and it did in fact make that much money(he wont), he would save in capital gains (if he grows) which would offset the repeal of the bush tax cut.

You've got the story wrong. Read here: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=95767079

The New York Times factchecks (http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/10/16/joe-in-the-spotlight/?hp) “Joe The Plumber.” Turns out he’s not a licensed plumber, that his real name is actually Samuel J. Wurzelbacher, that he owes back taxes, and that Obama’s tax plan would actually benefit him:
You're missing a huge joke.

Fuck this dude.
You know that one dude Samuel "Joe the Plumber" Wurzelbacher (pictured) everyone keeps talking about on TV? He may or may not already be a played-out Halloween costume (http://popwatch.ew.com/popwatch/2008/10/halloween-costu.html), but he sure is famous. So famous, in fact, that he's just retained the services of a Nashville-based PR firm, which sent me a press release last night. Said publicity firm has also been quoted as saying (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1008/15072.html) that "Joe" is considering launching a country music career. http://popwatch.ew.com/popwatch/2008/10/joe-plumber-cd.html
