it was a really fun song. the chorus goes: "Beverly Hills, that's where I want to be! (livin in Beverly Hills) Beverly Hills, rollin like a celebrity!".... um it's got a guitar solo and also a part where Rivers kinda talks to the camera. kind of a bouncy song. if i had to compare it to others, I'd say the energy of the song 'dope nose' but more like the green album. I'm not too good at comparing. I know for sure though that the video is going to be one of my favorites, I can't wait to see it or hear the new album.

haha playboy mansion eh? so i guess that is why they needed people to bring photo id to prove they're 18. i'm excited for the song, but i wasn't a fan of 'dope nose' though... we'll see when the song hits the airwaves.

The song is also supposedly the band's least favorite of the session. It's only on the record because Geffen wanted a single-worthy song.

I've heard a shitty version, recorded off someone's cell phone, and I'd tentatively compare the song to "El Scorcho" crossed with Beck's "Loser". Meaning it has a spare guitar part, a kinda spoken-word verse, and a huge chorus. I dunno, it sounded kinda annoying to me, so its a comfort to hear that its their least fave song. And the comparisons to the Green Album and Dope Nose don't bode well.

I love Weezer, but why are all their videos so gimmicky? Like the concept is "Take Weezer, put them in a strange situation, voila, you have a video!" It was fun up through "Hash Pipe", but putting them with bikers and at a Mexican bday party and now this? Groan.

I love poppy tunes - I thought the Green album was like an early Beatles release - so I want to hear the single, but I'm hoping that as long as they worked on the album with Rick, it'll be better than just "pop" music.
