The Lips are supposed to be INSANE live. I've seen Thrice several times and I love them, my favorite band and all, but I wouldn't pass up an opportunity to see the Lips... they're legends.

In case anyone is interested:
I went to the Thrice show cause I had a free place to stay and it was closer. I love both bands.
I wish I would have gone to the FLips.
Thrice was boring, great music, they just weren't very into it.
They only played 4 songs from Alchemy so I got to hear a lot of old Thrice, which was great.

Hahahaha Did that really change your life? I've watched dozens of videos/streams/etc and they all seem to be staring off into the distance. None of them jump around or anything, it's overall boring.
