Any of you pick this up last week? It looked pretty cool I thought and it's got an expanded drum set compared to the other music games, which is a huge plus because I really enjoy being the drummer.

Why do you think it's shitty, I mean track list is half the battle. It's all about having songs that are good to play and there are some great hard rock songs in there. plus look at that drum set, ti's sweet:

They practically invented the genre with dance dance revolution, guitar freaks and drum mania so it belongs to them as far as I'm concerned. The Konami name alone justifies me checking this out..

what are your thoughts on GHIV?

I gotta say I'm a little let down....I'm probably gonna beat it ASAP and go back to Rock Band....RB is just more polished and complete IMO

All the reviews I've read for the game state that it plays terribly. I might give it a rent later if I really need a new game, but with Fallout 3, GoW2, Far Cry 2, Castlevania Order of Ecclesia still on my need to play list, it's probably never gonna happen. Plus I don't want to spend more money after buying the full GHWT bundle.

I've heard the drumset is an absolute joke, and there aren't even vocals. Even though I'm a drummer, I wouldn't touch this thing with a 10 foot pole.

Meh, the vocals aren't perfect, but you aren't signing these songs. I think the songs are mapped well on the instruments, and that's really what I care about. They play well on the instruments, which is the point of the game...
