I've attached a new Thrice (www.thrice.net) studio update to the replies. It's not exactly the most informing thing in the world, but it gives you a general idea of what the guys have been up to, check it out.

"So, Monday through Thursday we are going to be doing some early preproduction with Steve. It's very strange to think that the ball will really start rolling at that point, especially after how long we've been writing now. We are really excited to start getting things nailed down. The cool thing is that for a lot of the songs we'll have a while to get used to playing them together and we'll hopefully be able to track a lot of stuff live. We'll see. My dog still rules. The new Planes Mistaken For Stars record is cool. It sounds pretty strange (which is normal for them) but has some interesting mixes going on. I don't know if I recomended 'Modern Art and the Death of a Culture' by H.R. Rookmaaker before, but it blew my mind. Lots of cool insights into the philosophical and cultural backgrounds and reasons for the rise of different forms of modern art. Peace out. "--love Dustin, Thrice
so they're recording some of the songs LIVE? woah.
they're going all The Chariot on us.

Thrice >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The Chariot.
The Chariot is just another cliched metalcore band: dun dun dun neeener neeener neeeener etc. etc.
Thrice, however... well, let's just say I'm tremendously excited for this record. As of now, my two favorite albums of '05 are Acceptance- Phantoms and Comeback Kid- Wake The Dead. I'm pretty sure Thrice will be filling the third slot.

All of the said albums, excpet Steel Train because I don't listen to them and Fall Out Boy is kind of iffy to me, are on my top for the year.
