Adam Sandler i guess. Sandler used to be funny when I was 8. Myers was never really that funny. I enjoyed Austin Powers but much rather prefer Adam Sandler for comedy. I do still find Happy Gilmore funny though

Adam Sandler because he has had more like defining oles that you could remeber him by plus he can do other genres than comedy!

i think people are forgetting how funny austin powers and waynes world is.

10/20/08, 07:47 PM
i know Shrek isn't a comedy but it was the only thing Mike was good at. and Wayne's World.

I feel like adam sandler plays the same character in all his movie

yeah I know he did like 2 or 3 more serious roles...but as far as his comedies go its the same thing.

10/20/08, 08:13 PM
Sandler easily. The only funny things Myers has been in are Wayne's World and Austin Powers.

Big_Guy
10/20/08, 08:18 PM
Wayne's World, Wayne's World 2 and the first Austin Powers movie are all classic, but those are all I can really say I like that Myers did.

Sandler has had Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore as far as classic goes, but he's also had a lot of decent movies.

Sandler probably wins, but DO NOT undermine the greatness that is the Wayne's World movies

I have to give my vote to Sandler, mainly because of Happy Gilmore.

Sandler is one of the worst comedians making films.

So I Married an Axe Murderer is an underrated classic

For me, it's a toss-up on who made the least shittiest current movie.

And between piece of shit that was The Love Guru and the piece of shit that was You Don't Mess With The Zohan, I'll pick Sandler. Myers was class in Wayne's World and So I Married An Axe Murderer (I'll even add the Studio 54 movie), and even all three Austin Powers movies weren't that bad, but The Cat in the Hat and The Love Guru are two of the biggest pieces of shits I've ever had to sit through. His off screen attitude and the way he has treated the people he worked with in the past as knock him down a slot.

Here's hoping his cameo in Inglorious Bastards will be good.

Sandler is a double-edge sword, but at least his bad movies don't make me want to kick myself in the nuts. (Though Zohan almost got me to do it.)

I like Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore more than I like the Austin Powers movies and Wayne's World. Sandler wins.

Wayne's World...fucking classic...though I will say that 50 First Dates is one of my favorite movies.

I enjoyed every Austin Powers movie thoroughly

...and I don't think Adam Sandler has ever been funny

Myers purely because of both Wayne's World movies. I think Airheads is Sandler's best movie.

Between the two of them, Punch Drunk Love is the strongest performance; however Mike Myers is more intelligent, a stronger writer, and a better overall performer. I still love the Sandman though.

myers has become a hack, if he'd stop milking shrek dry and make a movie that isn't based on some outlandish character i might respect him again. zohan aside, sandler still knows how to make solid films.

I think Jim Carrey vs. Adam Sandler would be a better comparison imo.

Jim Carrey also imo.

I had to go with Sandler. His movies are just way too funny. Not so much anymore. But still a lot of classics.

adam sandler - easily

domotime2
10/22/08, 10:46 PM
okay...the answer to this question IS ADAM SANDLER.

It's simple math really
Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy, Wedding Singer, Waterboy, Punch Drunk, Zohan, Little Nicky were funny.

Austin Powers x2, Waynes World x2, Axe Murdere, and Shrek x2.

8-7...and Sandler was better on SNL. It's not overwhelming but, Sandler gets the slight nod.

Going with Sandler as well. Back in their day they were both really funny, now they are just blah.

sandler definitely needs to keep working. he's still making great stuff, i can't wait for him and rogen's apatow comedy next year about stand up comedians.

Sandler because Billy Maddison and Happy Gilmore are classics. Although I do love the Austin Powers trilogy.

That's a tough call Myer's early work is probably better (waynes world, axe murderer, austin powers)......but he hasn't done anything of quality in years. Sandler on the other hand has had a very consistant career, never spectacular, but always watchable.

Sandler wins, but only because Myers should have called a career years ago.

Sandler, Myers is one of those actors (along with Carrey) who annoy me in everything they are in....(minus Carrey in Eternal...)
